On the 5th April 2000 a tragedy hit the Leeds United family that would send shockwaves through the football community. Fans from the length and breadth of the country joined the club in their grief at the tragic loss of two of their supporters - Chris Loftus and Kevin Speight.

As Leeds United fans we will never forget the loss of two fellow supporters, nor comprehend how going to watch your team can result in losing your life and changing the lives of so many others.

Next April marks the 10th anniversary of their passing and to mark this various events have been organised to raise money for the charity Candlelighters.
