Holly Mate

Just curious as the first time she was introduced she was Holly's alternate carnation, therefore Hilly. Cat had Dog, Rimmer and Lister had female equivalents.......Gawd I'm a geek

Best thing on TV - Only Fools and Horses repeats on Sky Gold.   Still the funniest thing on TV even if you've seen them a dozen times before.

Currently watching Star Trek The next Generation again. All digitally enhanced, fantastic quality.

As an aside Wesley Crusher as he is now.

I found Wesley Crusher to be the most annoying character on television.

I'm watching,

1. The Walking Dead Season 3

2. American Horror Story Season 2 (Aliens in this one)

3. Last Resort

4. 666 Park Avenue

5, Arrow (May stop watching this as it's too stupid even for my intellect)

6, Fringe Season 5

More of a movie fan myself

Great to see Aussie actors as the leads in #4 & 6

Don't watch TV anymore (tried but poor reception on this road trip) but... I'm very contrasted in what I used to watch.

My favourites are the old English comedy such as Mrs Brown, Keeping up appearances, etc. and there is the US comedies such as MASH, Simpsons, Family Guy...,

In contrast to them, I mainly liked sitting down to any educational/serious documentaries.

Major dislikes for TV viewing are reality shows of any description

Football/Rugby League takes precedent in our house (in fact the 42" TV in our lounge is the "Football TV". I'm also a big fan of shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy etc. Also like some British sitcoms, like Gavin and Stacey and Not Going Out, not a big fan of US ones but I just can't get enough of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Documentaries are also a big hit in our house too (mostly with me and my dad).

I've just finished watching the the first 3 seasons of Breaking Bad. If you've never seen it, read the reviews and then buy...you will not be disappointed, I promise you.

Walking Dead is amazing! Shot here in Atlanta and costarring Chandler Riggs (Carl), who was in my movie. Nice kid, his mom is great too.

18longleeds, we watch Walking Dead on iTunes. You might be able to get it that way.

I'll bet it isn't as good as the video game. That has some of the most heart-wrenching and emotional storytelling I have ever experienced.

By the way, you can't just drop this in without any follow up   :

Oh yeah? The show sounds similar, if the game is even close I will have to check it out!

I'm pretty sure I mentioned it before, but I suppose we can't all remember every detail about one another's personal lives when there's so much football to talk about.

My name is Scott Seeke, and I conceived a cowrote a 2010 movie called Get Low. It has Bill Murray, Robert Duvall, and Sissy Spacek, and in a minor role the aforementioned Chandler Riggs. It's based on the true story of a scary hermit in rural Tennessee who has his funeral while he's still alive so he can hear what people are going to say about him. It's based on my wife's family- Bill Murray plays her great-grandfather, if you can believe that. It was a ton of fun, and I am very proud of it.

Tonight I highly recommend World without end which is the sequel to Pillars of the Earth, based on the work of Ken Follett. Channel 4 at 9pm.

Started watching Charmed on E4, I remember my mum watching it when I was younger and I would sometimes watch it with her - I remember the characters and scenes, not the storylines. Twas a good show.
