Good question. There's a variety of Ritter Sport which is a bit on the chocolatey side. Best way to deliver a biscuit.

Any biscuit which Thatcher preferred must be the best biscuit, surely?

I know that's mean in a slightly humorous kind of way, but it's not really helping the point which everyone is making that there's no sense in getting into the nitty gritty of the whole subject.

I wish I knew her favourite biscuit, but her official biography is still in my reading queue, behind Dave's latest season review.

Take my follow up comment as 'sensible' then.

Not that sensible and biscuit debate often appear together

Keep it on topic mate, but for the record I agree, although some brunettes are quite attractive.

Additionally, as a spin off, is a Jaffa Cake a biscuit or is it literally a small cake?

The greatest biscuit in my humble opinion is the magnificent Half Man Half Biscuit the only band to record a song about scalexrtric and subbuteo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBmFuySb_Qw

On the munchies front wagon wheels but they have got smaller over the years, they were always my half time choice with a cup of bovril.

Would have been the Club plain chocolate, but that was cruelly phased out.....

Now it would be the plain chocolate digestive or ginger nut.

seen some rubbish posted on this forum in my time but some of the previous posts take the preverbial biscuit....... Best by far is a new kid on the block - cadburys crunchie biscuit - oh god they are so good - WARNING - never ever open a packet when the kids are around - they want you to share them - no way.

Prior to that Cadburys used to do a sort of club biscuit (really thick coating) I think it was only available in Ireland. United were very very good - would have been better if covered with cadburys chocolate!
