Lesson 1
For all you who never made it on Tuesday ...you might like to watch this ... or not, as the case maybe...it does carry a health warning for fans of Leeds with a rather blinkered outlook of being superior and deserving premiership football just because they are Leeds.

You will notice no clogging, no kicking as some have suggested about a physical approach, or any thing resembling cheating, just a little bit of pure football technique tearing Leeds apart, from the boys in red.

When some of your fans have the humility to recognise that Leeds are not superior despite all of your fan base, you might gain a little more respect. After all Swindon took 6000 fans to Fulham in the 3rd round of the FA Cup and hardly a mention in the media, yet your 4000 at Spurs had lot's.

I'll end this with this little 10 minute video of how football should be played. At the end of the day this is what really counts towards championships.

Well done to all those that came down to the game and have reflected the true nature of the contest - as it was. It was a pleasure to see you and just like any other club a joy to send you away pointless, no more no less, but another 3 points in our surge up the table, which now after 28 points in 11 games and almost un-noticed 9 wins 1 draw (at Charlton after conceding a freak goal in the 94th minute of a one sided game against 9 men) and one defeat it's auto promotion form if we continue until the end of the season.

You never know even part 2 might follow !

I don't know what Leeds fans you've talked to in the past, if any, but if you had taken the time to read at least half a post from the topic on LUFCTALK covering reactions to this game, you would have not been so haste to draw all those outlines of superiority feeling and accusations of cheating. Congratulations on the win and the good game and you'll probably make the playoffs (I honestly doubt automatic promotion is as easy to get as you depict it), but if you're preaching about a sensible, reasonable attitude towards opposition, you could start by researching a bit what our fans are actually thinking before throwing that around.

Well said Bogdan. Blimey, I started to feel really guilty for being so superior and arrogant because I was a Leeds fan, BUT THEN I REALISED I'M NOT! NEITHER DO I SPEAK DOWN TO PEOPLE I'VE NEVER MET AND I DON'T GENERALISE ABOUT OTHER CLUBS' FANS EITHER. I aooloise to everyone for being a Leeds fan and for ITV loving to screen us and loving to tell the world that Leeds tickets have sold out yet again.

Tell me everytime you win do you find the oppositions website and go on there ? I already know the answer it's no and why not because on this occasion you have won your Cup Final. I am sure Swindons local papers have told you what a famous victory it was t'other night have they not ?

There is not 1 post on this forum where any Leeds fan claims it's our god given right to be in The Premiership the only reference is from opposition fans.

Tell me Red, what's your average home crowd? I mean 6000 at Fulham is equivalent to our 9000 at OT. Both were big games with large away allocations but just how big is Swindon's following?

Yes.... you run a tight ship on here on reasonable thinking and to be true, many have reflected the true nature of the game as I tried to illustrate. But don't dare venture onto other Leeds forum sites where comments like "We should not be losing to team like Swindon " are pretty common and sometimes worse. Those may be from the uninformed ........but it sets a mood.

All you can do to temper that feeling would be appreciated by those clubs who have been tagged inferior.

Of course we want "auto" but we are doing it from the back, if it wasn't for Norwich losing 7-1 on the opening day we would have been bottom having lost 5-0. Leeds are trying to do it from the front .... don't know what is hardest ... perhaps we will finish 1st and 2nd.

I'd settle for second now - it'll be a tall order play off's more likely but we are in good form, equalled only perhaps by Norwich and as I said those that dismiss us out of hand, do it at their peril.

Over the years going back to Allan Clarke's double in 1970, you have always had better results against us than we have against you ... even the league cup encounter - your last in the Premiership we outplayed you only to be outdone by that Paul Robinson goal and penalties - that is why it mean't so much we were due a result and to do it in such style made it a double pleasure.

It wasn't a cup final as some have said it was an opportunity for victory and continuing our run .... if that momentum continues the excitement will grow with it. Elland Road April 3rd is going to be tough place to go undoubtedly.

I think you'll find that almost everyone on here acknowledged the best team won and took nothing away from Swindon. This tag of our fans being arrogant is getting tedious now, its something other fans WANT to believe and its quite frankly very harsh.

As I said, fair play to Swindon, they played well, deserved the win and got just rewards, we played badly and any reactions are not those of bitterness its reactions from fans who are unhappy we can go all season with one league defeat and then suffer two in the space of weeks. Nothing against your boys.

As for the Spurs comment, we did indeed take 4000 to White Hart Lane but we can only take whatever Spurs give us, if they had doubled that amount we would have taken them.

Unfortunately despite what you saying being truthful your one of many that comes on here and reminds us your team has beaten ours, do you go on Hartlepool, Walsall and Leyton foums if and when you beat them?

Nottingham ..just think about what you wrote .... it was even Leeds official site who labelled it "our cup final" It's that sort of thinking that gets you your reputation. Disrespectful, I'm afraid. No cups on offer we just wanted 3 points for reasons I have illustrated. I have also read the one sided report on the official site - what a load of nonsense even some of your fans have said that.

Maple.... I know Leeds have greater fan base I'm not disputing that. But that doesn't guarantee you on the field success. Indeed with the resources at your disposal Leeds it could be said are significantly under performing despite being in the top 2 of Division 1

We're not claiming on-field success out of thin air, but if you're coming on here to make a study on the smallness of our merits versus the huge potential everyone's missing about your team, then be up for point-by-point comparisons...

Bloody hell mate. We are second with two games in hand, after losing just three league games all season. If that is underperforming, then you are truly the more deluded individual.

WE'RE NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE!!!!!!!!

You only come on here to read the Leeds...............
