I think one very eloquent example we can give our Swindon-supporting 'friend' (and any other that might come forward with similar feelings in the future) is our very own fans' attitude before and after the Man U game this year. If there was ever an opportunity to make a cup final out of a game this was it. And to be frank we (most/all.. doesn't matter) look at it that way. But from very next day after that, our worries were back to the league run and I think it's safe to say we didn't give a thought to what this meant for the Mancs, or felt that we were all of a sudden in an position to teach them anything.

Not impressed with this type of posting have imposed a 3 day ban but if others in the Staff Room agree will increase to a permanent ban. This forum is not WACCOE and we really need constructive criticism other wise whats the point in having this forum ?
Anyone reading this if you can't string a decent sentence together then don't bother joining because you aren't for us

We are all hurting and no doubt somewhat bewildered (understatement there methinks!! ) by last nights 'performance' but to suggest SG out is jutter utter nonsense IMO!! He is undoubtedly one of the best and brightest young English managers in the game today and (again IMO) we are lucky to have him. Whether he's got what it takes to get us to the promised land remains to be seen, but I for one will be giving him 110% backing all the way!! And no doubt, as has always been the case in my 42 years of supporting the greatest team in all the land, there'll be plenty of ups and downs along the way. But would I have it any other way (apart from the fact that the old ticker can't take it like it used to be able to ) you bet your life I wouldn't!!

Good post Pock, totally agree.
Nobody is perfect & SG will make mistakes along the way like many other managers.
I don’t always agree with his judgment of players (like not playing White at LB) & I somewhat doubt his motivational skills at times but I do back him & believe he is best placed to take us forward.
Even allowing for that shocking performance on Tuesday, we are still in a strong league position & lets face it most of us would have taken this before the season started.
