Uncle Ken says Macca was poorly

Just been on the official Leeds united web page and Uncle Ken has said that Gary Mac was "very poorly" and should not have even been at the game...

Well in my opinion if he was not well enough to be at the game he should have been tucked up in bed with a cup of hot chocolate and Staunton should have taken his place.... well that is what the Assistant Manager is there for right??

I can not understand why Gary would go to the game and sit down and do or say nothing. I hope he is feeling better for the Tranmere game on saturday

Well if that is the reason for his lack of passion on the day fair enough. Credit to him if he still went along despite being ill.

It could be a cover up for the fact that so many fans have pointed out McAllisters failure to get off his seat but I once doubted Ken Bates before and he proved me wrong so this time I'll believe him.

I think Bates sums it up pretty well, the fact is we are out of the cup so lets just move on and look to the future.. 3 points of saturday will do nicely...

The YEP were reporting that McAllister had received a vote of confidence following a meeting this week. The review had been planned before the Histon game apparently.

OK, so Gary may have been ill. If he couldn't manage then why was he there? As has been said above, he has assistants to take over. If he wasn't fit to jump up and down on the touchline, then OK, fair enough. But what about Staunton et al? There's usually an entourage of assistants in that dug-out. Why weren't they getting up and giving instruction? Were they all ill too?

He didn't look well to be fair, but why say all this now. Seems a bit odd.

Macca was his usual inanimate self on Sunday, but having watched the game again and the interview after, he dint seem very ill to me!

Bring on saturday... see if he feeling any better!

Unfortunately history seems to suggest that if Macca has survived a vote of no confidence, received the backing of both the Board and the Chairman then he will most likely be gone by the New Year!!

No not Roy Keane!!. I'll stick with Gary Mac over him every time.
Come to think of it I'd even have Wobbly-eyes or the ghost of Brian Clough back before entertaining Keane!

After what happened with Alf-Inge Haaland I can't imagine anyone getting behind an administration with him in charge.

We would need someone stable - Keane is a nutcase and a Man. Utd nutcase at that!
