If you have Film 4 then please, this afternoon, do yourself a big favour (and your family and friends) and watch, even better record, A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH. It is one of the best films ever made. Don't worry about it being old or 'posh', those things actually add to it.

It is one argument I would enjoy having with you matey
I prefer It's A Wonderful Life to be honest, but it's a fine line and both are beautiful throughout. YES, I said beautiful and I don't care what people think about me haha!

Get a room.
How rare is this movie...? Barely a handful of people to download it from. Not that I would do such a thing, of course, but for argument's sake, I checked...

"A Matter of Life and Death" is not the sort of film that today's audiences will get on with. There are no fist-fights, no car chases, no gratuitous sex and no wobbly camera work or rapid editing. It's just a brilliant story with great dialogue, supreme lighting and Cinematography by a master and a huge dose of magic.

I gave it half an hour, have just told our lass I don't have a feminine side, she laughed and said I didn't to come on here to find that out I now think that Phil must be short for Philistine

Watched the new(ish) Star Trek movies last night. It was OK. I liked Captain Kirk being a bit of a rebel and Spock coming to terms with emotions. Eric Bana was excellent as the baddie, Nero the renegade romulan.
Our very own Simon Pegg plays Scotty but I dont think he got enough screen time. Perhaps in the follow up he might get more time as I generally like Pegg.
The only thing that was a bit strange was when Spock met his future self played by the legendary Leonard Nimoy. It just seems they made it fit just to have Nimoy in the film.
Not a modern classic like ONS suggestions but I enjoyed it and didnt turn off thinking how I'm gonna get those two hours back.

Went to the flicks to see this Star Trek and me and my 'bird' thought it was ace

Quattro I think you will find. Capri's were for Bodie and Doyle.

They want $17.50 to watch toy story 3D here in Oz I think that sucks. What do people in other countries pay to see movies?
