Interviews are like buses, wait for 1 and 2 come along.
We know you are a student but what are you studying and are you any good at it ?
I study Maths at Nottingham Trent, and will follow it on with a one-year teaching course in 2012. I'm mid-way through my first year exams at the moment, i'll let you know if i'm any good on results day.
Why follow Leeds United ?
Well, I was born in Blackburn, but my dad was a massive Leeds fan. He goes all over the country to see them - He was even at the 75 final as a 10 year old. My dad thought it was best to pass on the glorious white life ahead of any of the Lancashire nonsense. He chose well, I think.
What is your favourite type of music ?
I can listen to anything really, though I prefer a bit of indie music. Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, that sort of stuff. I'm going to see Muse and Grinderman in the summer.
Who was the last person you shook hands with and why ?
I think it was with someone helping me with travel to London in August - I don't know who he was, but he was very helpful. He saved me a good £20 on my way to the Emirates Cup this August!
Yorkshire Pudding or Lancashire Hot Pot ?
Lancashire born, but bred like a Yorkshire-man. It has to be Yorkshire Pudding everytime!
Which mobile phone do you own ?
Sony Ericsson w580i. It's old and battered nowadays, I may need a replacement soon!
Favourite away ground and why?
There's been a few good ones, especially over the last few years. I only really started going to away games since we were in League One. I went to a few in the Championship, and only a couple in the Premiership. Crewe has a lot of nice memories. Oldham is also a good day out for me, as it's near home. I've loved Carlisle as well. A true old-style ground.
For me, though, it'll have to be Walsall, for personal and footballing reasons. To snatch a draw with that last minute free kick, and the overall support we gave on that cold day in 2007, it was magnificent. Anyone who went last August will also tell you it was a cracking day. If you look overseas, Shelbourne have an amazing ground. I went in July. It was fantastic.
Tell us a secret about yourself ?
I used to have quite severe OCD as a kid. I used to always wash my hands. I've got past it now, though. Also, I no longer drink (to the shame of Nottingham Whites! )
Last movie you watched ?
Never Back Down - It wasn't that good really. It was just an excuse to get some fighting action and a pretty girl together in a film. I've got Gran Torino on DVD and will be watching that tonight. It has good reviews.
Favourite toy as a child ?
Micro Machine cars! They were brilliant, especially if you had a track/city landscape that folded up into a big car that stored all your little cars. I also had Super Striker with a special Leeds United team. That was always good fun. I remember getting it for my birthday, my dad had took me to get it the day before because he was scared it'd sell out (it was re-stocked that day and quite popular). He was so excited to use it we opened it a day early and played for 3 or 4 hours!
Worst away fans for noise at ER during our League 1 tenure ?
I've never been impressed with the level of support in this league, to be honest. Colchester seem to always have very boring fans, though. They'll probably be the worst i've seen. Blackburn in the pre-season friendly, were awful. As were Watford, in the League Cup match.
If you were to be an animal what would you be ?
Probably a cat - I've learnt recently that if a cat is cute, it can visit several houses on a street and get fed by them all. Imagine the variety!
Living away from home what do you miss the most ?
My family, probably. I live in Clitheroe back home, and it's not a great town. I don't get on with many people there, so I sort of stick to close friends and family when i'm back at home. My mum's cooking will always be missed as well, as I am a terrible cook! I also miss the football team, Clitheroe FC. I started going to see them if Leeds were playing deep down south, in places like Yeovil. I'd usually get to about 30 Leeds games a season and 10/15 Clitheroe games a season. A smashing little club. I still go to watch a couple of games when i'm back during the holidays. They're a real small-town club, where everybody knows the players and manager. I remember when we beat FC United 2-1, and the boss went so mental he came over to the stands to hug me! Brilliant stuff!
Finally describe the future Mrs Ribble White
Well, the current other half is quite tall, dark haired and quite slim. She's into her football and music, so we get on very well. Luckily, unlike my last girlfriend, she's not a Scum fan, but rather an Arsenal supporter!
The future Mrs RibbleValleyWhite will probably be something not too disimilar to that. Having a lot in common is important, as well as a cute smile!

Loving these interviews - the cat answer is a good call, I speak from experience having seen how our cats are treated at home.... like winning the lottery!

I'm not going to hear the bloody end of it when they batter us.
