We’ll start with the obvious question, why Leeds United?
Knew this question would be coming and annoyingly I can’t remember too much before the age of 7! But 4 things spring to my mind, the 1st was my best mate (still my best mate after all those years) had been taken to Elland Road by his father and watched Leeds vs. Liverpool in about 1976 (we got beat by the way) and it was big news at Long Lee Primary (the school is not there anymore), the 2nd was at lunch time you did not eat you played football and I always ended up on the Leeds United team (Leeds and Liverpool were the only teams supported back then, no manure fans anywhere, oh the bliss). The 3rd reason was I bought some bubble gum which had those football cards in them and the first 2 players I got were Billy Bremner and Joe Jordan (wonder who they played for?) and the final reason was simple I hated the colour red, could not stand it so as it was Leeds or Liverpool the team in White prevailed and have supported them ever since and guess what I still think I made the right choice. My first strip was the Leeds home shirt in the1977/78 season and Tony Currie was my favourite player back then.

What do you do for a living?
Sorry nothing exciting here I work as an Administration Officer for Hunter New England Area Health, the department I work in is Drug and Alcohol and have been here since 2001. sssshhh whisper it……………I do like my job scary isn’t it?

Tell us a secret about yourself.
For 39 years I have without knowing it until very recent been slowly killing myself, last December I was diagnosed with extreme sleep apnoea (I stopped breathing 83 times every hour) if I had a driving job I would have had my license taken away from me straight away lucky for me the only thing I drive is a desk so now I have to wear a Darth Vader style mask (or is it Hannibal lector?) when I sleep but I can tell you all it has made me feel 10 years younger with all this new found energy and its feels like I’ve been given a another chance to live life to the fullest. So something bad has ended up very good.

Marital status?
Oh so very single and most of the time I have no problems with that, I get bored very quick and lose interest, at school I always wanted to play football instead of holding my then girlfriends hand. I have no fatherly ambitions and admire those who do but it’s not for me. Maybe if Miss Right came along I might change that but she would have to be out of this world or from another world.

Which movie star would you like to be and why?
Don’t really have a favourite movie star but would like to be a character in movie and its nothing special but James Bond would be the only one I would like to be and the reasons are not out of this world but he has an ideal day ---- find the villain, stop the villain and save the earth, bed the hot female lead and be home in time for tea to sip on a Vodka Martini……………… ah perfect. But! if I’m pushed Brad Pitt, why? Jennifer Anniston, Angelina Jolie hello!!!!

You won the equivalent of £1000000 what are the first 5 things you would do?
Buy a hit man to get rid of Uncle Ken!!!! No but seriously I’d give some to my parents for all the years they have had to put up with me then I’d have a trip back to the UK and go straight to the Elland Road shop and buy everything, get the members of the forum to the closest pub to Elland Road and put a chunk of it over the bar so we can really see and meet each other, get a season pass and a teleport machine so I can get to the games on Saturday’s/Sunday etc etc if no teleport I’ll buy a private jet, would there be anything left after all that, who knows? But it would be fun.

Are you a good cook?
At school I enjoyed cooking yeah it was usually Bread or cakes and I was very good at it but I had to make a choice the following year…… Cooking or Computers! So cooking was dropped so I guess my cooking now sucks, maybe I should get some test subjects to see how good/bad it really is…………volunteers?

Favourite type of restaurant?
Anything Asian……Chinese, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Korean, Thai I could go on plus it’s got to be very hot with lots of chilli.

What was the last thing you read?
I love reading but it’s been a while since I read a book and it was The Damned United! And yes I did enjoy it, its always more fun when you’re the villain as Leeds were portrayed in the book. Guess the next one will have to be one of ONS books!

Have you any tattoo’s if so where and what are they of?
No I have not defiled my body with a tattoo as yet but if I do it would be a small one and it would be something to do with Leeds, probably their badge.

How much cash is currently in your wallet?
$100, anyone keen for a beer?

Do you collect anything?
Match day programmes, books/magazines on Leeds are really the main ones although my video and DVD collection is not bad.

Which of your friends do you envy and why?
Probably my best mate who got to see a Leeds game before I did (that’s a big one), he is the largest run scorer in the Bradford league cricket (so he was successful at his sport but I will say it was me bowling to him for hours and hours every night that helped him and stuffed my cricket career up as now I’ can’t bowl as I get a sore shoulder after bowling one ball), also he can get to Elland Road anytime he wants (another big reason) but I do have some things over him I live in a much better country and have the better lifestyle.

Finally! Favourite cartoon character?
I did like BJ’s Foghorn Leghorn he was pretty good but I’m going for the Roadrunner, wish I was that quick!!!! And he always won. I was thinking of Tom and Jerry but that cartoon lies as we all know the mouse always loses!!!!!

I apologise if there are any spelling mistakes or punctuation errors!

I'm just surprised that no one wants me to win the money so i can hire the hitman for uncle ken!!!! I thought there would be many takers for that on this site.

Excellent answers, I am proud to have met you on that great day in May, and look forward to our next catch up.

I'll do a hot chilli dish with you 007.

Any chance on elaborating on the types of DVD's you own.... movies generally or specific themes?

BW it would be great to meet up again, do you think you can make the 1st ever NSW branch meeting? if not i'm sure it will be throughout the season
Hot chilli dishes you got to love them.
DVD collection a bit of everything really 80's tv (Miami Vice, The A Team, Dempsey and Makepeace), Murder/Mystery (usually anything Agatha Christie, Wire in the blood, early The Bill), today's tv (NCIS, X files - ok not today but not that long ago), Sci fi (Battlestar Galactica - all versions, Dr Who), James Bond (of course), War movie Collection (Zulu, WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam etc), Sport (football/Leeds/EPL classics, WWE), 70's (The Sweeney, Space 1999), Top Gear. There are many others but off the top of my head can't remember them all but its always expanding.
