Well after the World Cup it's back onto the real stuff, starting with a pre season friendly.
A few debuts tonight should be expected and how will we fare post Beckford ?

Hoping we give Tom Lees some time on the pitch. I've got high hopes for him.

we seem much more in control this half.
Wish i could see it. Can't help wondering whether it kilkenny on left and gradell on right with Johnson and Snotrag in middle or a nother way round?

johnson just won the ball then ran at them.
Exactly why i keep saying he should start in the middle not on the left.

8ballali Snotrag in middle
Sorry, but I've been wanting to ask you this for ages. Is there some kind of inside joke I've missed about Snodgrass, or do you just not like his proper name, or what? I've not seen it 'spelled' like that on any other forum and you really seem to want to write it like that, though I fail to see the affectionate side of the nickname...

Lost 1-0,but against the team that finnished 5th in their top division last season and with them already ready for their league to start,we did ok. Specially second half when we had more of the players we'd expect to be starting on a regular basis.
Sounded like Tom Lees did well in defence once he got on.

I just like it as a nickname.
Nothing against him.
In fact he's one of my favourite players.
In hindsight it was a thread on another forum when he first joined us.
We were asked to come up with nicknames for the new player.
Snotrag was my favourite. Nothing more mate.

Hah, no need to, was just genuinely curious. For example I haven't met anyone to constantly put Prutton down as Jesus in all the references, team line-ups, etc.

This is funny cos i was going to ask you to call him Snoddy or anything that sounded a bit more friendlier than snotrag! I know there's no harm meant in the nickname but it's something that bugs me a bit, it might be something to do with me having a crap surname
