Got to agree with all those Longleeds - they are loads worse than mine !
Add to your seven Mark De-Vrise and Enoch Showumni
Any more blasts from the past ?

Terry Yorath, No way!
He was a hard tackling midfield player & very loyal & honest to the team who would play anywhere when asked.
OK he did not possess the ability of a Hunter or Bremner but who did?
He was unfairly vilified at home games by blinkered supporters who only went to home games & did not see his true worth to the team by providing back up for injured players often in unfamiliar positions & roles.
I believe the Don had groomed Terry Yorath to take over from Norman Hunter but unfortunately the Don left the club & TY was driven out by those barrackers from the home support.

I bit my lip and kept quiet, about some of the bizarre naming and shaming of best and worst players, and to name Yorath as one of the worst, well there's opinions and then there's just nonsense bordering on disgraceful. It gets me wondering if some people actually saw Yorath play, that's the same Yorath who had a big hand in helping us win the league in 74 and who captained his country I believe a record number of times and as possibly the youngest to do so.

Nice to see a few different opinions and people defending some of the names I put forward - Ramsey White.
I don't think Don was grooming Yorath to replace Hunter though - remember Norman
was a left sided central defender whilst Yorath as you say was a tough tackling
central midfielder ( often played out of position ) as you pointed out and maybe that was one of the reasons that halted his progression . He was unable to command a regular first team place.
Can't fault him or any of the names listed for effort , I'm sure they all tried their best ,but the lasting memory I have of him is of him mistiming tackles and getting booked a lot.
Having just watched the ' Damned United ' - it also appears that three of my ' worst ever '
team Kenny Burns, John O'Hare and John Mcgovern all won European Cup winners medals with Forest ??? How on earth did that happen when Bremner , Giles & Co were
robbed of that accolade in Paris 75 v Bayern .
Yes Longleeds - Livermore was a one week wonder , did we actually get chance to see him play ? I don't think so .

Graham Stack - i just remember him having a big kick? thats about it.
Hayden Foxe - terrible all round defender
Sean Gregan - almost funny he was that poor
Armando SA -
Tony Capaldi - worst left back i've seen play for Leeds
Paul Okon - very poor, couldnt pass well, or tackle
Sebastian Sorsa
Kevin Nicholls - didn't last 6 months and was meant to be captain?
Jacob Burns - promising flop
Cyril Chapuis - Embarrassing all round
Liam Dickinson - shocking first touch
I'd like to think that's quite a poor team

Terry Yorath was very similar to Beckford whereas he split the Leeds fans and some rated him highly and others didn't. No way should he be entered into this thread in my opinion. I always found him to be a hard grafter and a man who gave 100%.
Tony Capaldi now there's a man worthy of a place in anyone's worst ever side.

Paul Hart one of the worst players you've seen play for Leeds???
Must have missed the increasing (and genuine) chants of 'Paul Hart for England' then mate.
