Crete hey all away one going off on holds this year?
im heading to crete for two weeks..any1 ever been?

Crete is ACE, though it's a big island, and when the weather is good, by eck it's GOOD 
I've been to Almerida 3 times, it's not that well-known but I loved the place.

I used to live there when I was in my hippy youth. Great place - it has been very over developed in parts but if you can get up to Chania do so as it is beautiful. Beaches all around the island are great and the weather is always excellent. The people are very friendly - you'll have a great time.

My summer is very busy this year
On Friday, I'm going to Germany with one of my friends and his family (his mother is German) and we're going to visit their friends and family all around the country - Frankfurt and Munich will be the two main countries. Can't wait - 3 weeks of pure Germany and 3 weeks when I can improve my German.
Then I'm back for 4 days, collect my AS Level results and go to France, Dordoigne (sp?) for a week with my family. I also learn French so that should be useful as well.
