They say old rockers never die, they just fade away, well my South African Cabernet Sauvignon is going down well and helping with the fading.
But being an old rocker I reckon this lot are superb (if you like that sort of thing?). Hope you enjoy and if they tour here I'll certainly be checking them out live.
Their Sound of Madness album is top stuff!!

Just booked some tickets to see them at Rock City in Nottingham in February.
Really looking forward to a lively night out!
Went to see them last night and they were excellent.
My ears are still ringing this morning!
Great musically and very entertaining. Mrs PW enjoyed them aswell and made an interesting, to us anyway, observation that during the course of the songs and the banter with the crowd there was not one swear word uttered!
My first taste of music (as a teenager) was in the 70's during the Glam Rock era of Slade, Sweet, T Rex, Mott the Hoople etc. then moved on to watching thes of The Jam, Stranglers, Clash, Sham 69, Eddie and the hot rods as the decade moved on. Still listen to a lot of my old stuff was a great decade.
Nowadays I like music (usually rock based) from all eras but in recent years started listening to a lot of Blues music especially electric blues that influenced many top british groups such as the Stones, Animals, Fleetwood Mac, Cream etc.
Do like guitar based music and dont believe there as been anyone better than Stevie Ray Vaughan, should never have got in that helicopter.

Getting excited now! Just about to set off for the Coldplay gig at the Etihad tonight. Not sure which I am more excited about - seeing the Etihad for the first time, or seeing Coldplay live for the first time! If you have ever had a good look around the Etihad, the banks of louvres at the back of each stand were manufactured and installed by my former employer - the idea is that they can be opened and closed, closed during games to keep the wind out, but open the rest of the time to "air" the pitch. Hence, I saw them going through the factory but have never seen them in situ! (I am starting to sound like Pecky with her fetish for light!!!!!!)

- I think I'd prefer the use of "infatuation" rather than fetish!!
Enjoy the concert. A couple of years ago I would have been excited at the prospect of seeing Coldplay live. For the moment, I am keeping that dream intact by choosing not to go see them performing their latest album, which I'd best abstain from giving adjectives to.

Not a fan of Chris Martin but I do like their music.
Was at the Gym the other day & they played a live performance by Foreigner. I have actually never been a fan of them but I must say I did enjoy the compilation of songs like 'Cold as Ice', 'Whole lot of Love' etc.
Anyone on here know which album that is?
