Thanks guys.
Mr Russell came around today and presented me with the new leeds shirt (which I am wearing now) Thank you all so much. The bad news is the Man u doctor told me he has lots more scissors
I had a great weekend out of hospital(back in tomorrow though) and will pass the time reading the Don Revie Tribute to a football legend and refuse to let the nurses turn out my light until I have finished reading it...
The best thing about what happened to me is, I cannot retain anything I read so every day I wake up in hospital I will see the book and read it again
Until next weekend, take care and post like crazy.

Thanks guys.
The good news, I finish rehab on Monday and am off to the Brain Trauma centre. Once they are happy with me I will be allowed home for good. The trauma centre closes over Christmas so I will be home for that
The bad news, I have medically lost my drivers licence and they think I will never be able to ride my motorbike again
I have to defer my studies at University for at least two years and cannot return to work until 2013. The worst news of all is I'm not allowed to drink alcohol for 12 months NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...
Once again thank you all for your support over the last few weeks.

Hi All
Just thought i'd give an update (I know Garper has been on since the incident)
Last night the Newcastle Referees Association had a benefit night for Garper which included a meal, show (hynotist), raffles etc. Garper could not make the event due to him still been uncomfortable around crowds but his wife, daughter, one of his sons and his brother from Perth (Keith) who is also a Leeds fan we had a good talk about our lord and master (Uncle Ken) think it ended with us wanting to get a voodoo doll and some large pins
There was 100+ people there and at the door they had a big poster of who organised the event and people could put a message of support for him so i included one from me and LUFCtalk as you had provided him with your support as well as getting him a Leeds shirt and a message in one of the programs. I was told they had raised more than what they expected so it was good news all around.
Also Garper and his family have moved house so they can now look forward to their new life away from the events a few months back, now its just a long slow road to his full recovery.
Cheers and MOT!

Sounds like a really good night. Just a shame Garper wasn't upto being there in person. Best wishes still going out to him and his family on the road to recovery.
