After watching most of Bulls home games last season we know there is no higher force at work. Just ineptitude from the players and coaches. At times all you can do is laugh, they've been that bad. Hopefully they will have a bit more consistency this season and play together. God willing!

I know a guy who lives in Halifax (not Leeds fan), he had a season ticket last year just for the sake of it being so cheap, but even he didn't think it was worth it anymore, he said they were too rubbish to bother.
I'd like to go to Odsal once, I know some SL fans that really rate the experience, even though I've also heard it's freezing on most days regardless of weather.

Any time you fancy coming along you are more than welcome. Last season was my first year back at Odsal since their return from Valley Parade. Apart from building some monstosity behind the goal and tarmacking over the Speedway track, very little has changed. It's sad to see. They have just recently sold the ground to the RFL to safeguard it's future. I hope this means some investment will be pumped into it. But I doubt it. The potential is their to build a fantastic stadium especially with the natural bowl.
On a bad day it is grim. The rain and wind drives right down the pitch. Saying that we had some good weather last season for the majority of games. The night game against the Rhinos was blessed. Shorts and T-shirt weather in balmy April.
The atmosphere is also not as vibrant as before, apart from the bigger games. This year better must come.

Anyone else under the impression that RL was meant to be a predominantly summer sport? I live in Balmy Brighton but it's -6 here this morning so it must be -26 in Leeds!
I'm a Bulls fan, only got into it about 10 years ago and one of my uncles lives in Shipley so it was his influence. And besides, Bradford had the pick of the crop when it came to RL totty back then
Anyone know of a weekend when the Bulls are at home the same weekend as the Whites? I could come up for a double-header then

Very true, for some reason Odsal has its own unique climate, infact it should be mentioned on the Radio 4 Shipping forcast, something like:
Dogger, minus 4, visability good....
Odsal, minus 20, visability poor....

There are three week-ends that Bulls and the Whites are at home at the same time. Two of them are on the same day.
18th feb - LUFC v Doncaster 19th feb - Bulls v Wigan
3rd mar - LUFC v Southampton (17:20) Bulls v Warrington (17:45)
17th mar - LUFC v West Ham (15:00) Bulls v St. Helens (17:45)
If Leeds are kicking off at 3pm then it's a tight call to get to Odsal for 5:45pm but do-able.
-8c here this morning. 6 miles from Odsal and lower down. Not looking promising for sunday.

Looks like the favourite then; could be a mad few days as I'm at the Velodrome on the Friday night for the Olympic test event

I was actually brought up in a RL environment with my Dad watching Leeds home & away & portraying numerous stories of his days out supporting Leeds RL.
God bless him, he tried on countless occassions to offload the RL culture on me & made me attend many Leeds RL games with him but soccer & LUFC was my chosen team.
That said, I do really enjoy RL & always watch games when possible particularly the Rhino’s who I support not just because of my parentage but also because they come from the City of Leeds.
Regarding Odsal, I am sorry but I would not recommend a visit to this ground.
I have been there many times & it must be one of the worst grounds for atmosphere & facilities with very sparse cover in bad weather.
That said I have not been for over 20 years so things might have improved.
Pity the Bulls could not agree to ground share with BC because when they played there in the 2000’s it was a great atmosphere & the facilities at Valley Parade are excellent.
Perhaps I am treading on dodgy ground here but I do have a soft spot for the Bulls & the other Yorkshire teams because I personally will support ANY Yorkshire team ahead of anything that comes from across the Pennines, particularly that scum team in disguise from St Helens.

I can't stand Ian Millward but this is shocking and sad
Millward's son dies suddenly

And bad news for Rhinos fans too (not as bad as IM's obviously)
JJ-B ruled out for 10-12 weeks

Rhino’s 28 – Wolves 18
Great game to watch, Rhino’s failed to fully capitalise on their domination in the first 25mins & allowed the Wolves back into the game by half time.
Riveting 2nd half but Rhino’s fully deserved the victory in the end.
Regardless of who you want to win, its games like this that make you appreciate what an entertaining sport RL is.

Agree, what a cracking game that was last night.
I am a Cas fan for my sins, and other than a opening game win against Salford it has been really poor. Lose today at London, and we will have hit new lows.
That said, good to hear IM is back on Monday following the shocking personal situation he has had to deal with. Good luck to him and his family.

Great comeback for the Bulls today at HullKR. 24-8 down and came back to win 36-24. Seeing them play at home this year it is hard to see where their away form has come from.
Used to love watching Classy Cas back in the day with Ford, Tony Kemp, Nikau, Crooks, Steadman and Ellis throwing it around.

Yes, great comeback. Hopefully, Bradford can work there way back to the top where they always used to be.
Those days for Cas are well gone now, we only have one really quality player in Chase. Other than that, we are very average and the table says it all. On Sky come Friday too, which could be a cricket score against a very good side.
