Well our next game is this Tuesday night against relegation threatened CCFC. On paper an easy 3 points but this is Leeds United we are talking about. Redfearn to go with his last 2 starting 11 and if we lose maybe his last game in charge.

Possibly the last away game I can do this season, so hoping for some effort from the team (not that there wasn't any against Brighton, but we can do better).
Don't see why Redfearn shouldn't attempt some changes in the starting line up. The presumed better atmosphere round the dressing room is clearly not enough on its own to get us points (forget the Bristol game). God knows what will happen though.

My team going forward...
Lonergen
Smith
AOB
Lees
White
Townsend
Delph
Clayton
Pugh
Thompson
Snoddy
Becchio
Played 4-5-1 with Pugh deep in front of back four and Snoody in the hole.
Season's screwed now so get the same 11, with kids, playing week in, week out to get used to it.

Well if we do intend to play with 12 players, I would suggest we pick 2 keepers.

Glad to see you're all awake.
Drop Townsend then if you must.

It's a bit of yet another last chance saloon isn't it? Optimistic old me is already believing we can put on a performance - we have won the other two East Midlands away games and didn't concede a goal....
I feel Redfearn must change something. For what it is worth, if everyone is available I'd like to see:
Lonergan
Smith Lees Bruce Pugh
Snoddy Clayts Delph Sam
Becchio McCormack
Subs: Taylor, White, Townsend, Brown, Paynter
I have never undersood why Bruce went so out of favour. He had that MOTM award at the Emirates last year and to my memory has never really had a "stinker" (not like OAB did against Bradford for instance). Following up on Bogdans post, and the Leedsoffside article there must be a problem at central defence. Most of us seem to think it's O'Dea so let's change it. I'd take O'Brien instead of Bruce if he was fit but it sounds as if Bruce is closer to match fit, as he was on the bench on saturday. I know lots of people like Aidy White but to me he is not the complete article yet, he's too naive at full back as yet, and not experienced enough as a winger. Everyone was calling for him to be replaced as early as the first half v Brighton (accept everyone can be wrong of course!). I feel about Lloyd Sam the same as Bruce - where has he gone? Now that Becchio is finding his feet again we need to get that ball into the middle either for Becchio to score or to knock down for others. Sam has had very good games for us but again his face has never seemed to fit. If Sam isnt an option then I'd go Townsend again, hoping he's going to have a Burnley and not a Birmingham!
Paynter on the bench? Well, if we are setting the team up to play with a Becchio, we surely need to cover the type of player dont we? That means Forssell (not good enough for me) or Barndoor Billy. I have a soft spot for Billy in that I cannot believe that a player who used to bang goals in for fun (admittedly not in the Championship) is now a useless piece of ****. He showed us at Preston last year that he does have that goal scorers instinct, and a great shot. Give him another (final) chance. One other point. With Danny Pugh in the side, we really can be quite radical with the bench, as the bloke can play in many roles, even up front I dare say at a stretch.

Only a couple of days away & this is another match we can’t really afford to drop any points.
From the FL highlights Coventry appeared to play well at Reading & missed plenty of chances so it will be no easy game for us.
Not sure if we should make any changes, maybe Townsend/Rogers for White or Pugh but other than that I suspect that starting line up against Brighton is perhaps our best formation.
I would also like to see Forssell or Paynter added to the bench to give us more striking options.

I'm never confident.
I genuinely don't think we are going to win this one. What improvements can we realistically make to the side? Absolutely none. Our depth is a joke and I think we are going to have to play the same line-up that lost to Brighton even though it is basically the same team that Grayson had when we were underperforming and when he got the sack.
No manager is going to want to come in and take over now. I sure as hell wouldn't. Its a really bad time at the moment and I don't think anything can help us...........
Except of course. THE Robbie Rogers.
He has his own website you know.

I think we will win at Coventry too - in fact we just have to! You are right about Delph ....not sure about our Billy in midfield though! BUT I do think we should give Billy one more chance....he can't be as bad as we all think he is ....can he?

Looking at the performance against Brighton you would have to say we need to make changes to liven things up as we didn't create anything. Then looking at the squad you'd have to say who can we bring in?
Don't know much about Rogers but Grayson brought him in and Refearn didn't have him on bench on Saturday so he might not get a chance yet (or at all).
I think Aidy White needs a rest so we should be able to start Townsend against a struggling club and get a decent game from him surely. If he wants to get on in the game now's the time to start. After that on the creative front I'm at a loss.
As much as Redfearn (to carry on the generation game theme after "Larry" could he be "Anthea"?) says we have spent a lot of time on defensive training since SG went, we still let 2 soft goals in v Brighton. I can see why some say that Bruce might be worth a shout instead of O'Dea. He had a good game (honestly, not another gen game pun intended with Brucies good game) against Burnley after being recalled from Huddersfield where I believe he had been doing well and of all the options he possibly deserves another go. I noticed we tried to keep possession more on Saturday instead of launching it and I think Bruce plays the ball out of defence better than the others.
Up front McCormack's record this season should keep him in the team for me and Becchio looked better on Saturday and has scored in the recent games so he stays too.

Yeah but that "1" was a good one! It is still one of my favourite goals of last season. The look on Billy's face when he stood accepting our plaudits was wonderful. We had been singing "Come on Billy, Come on Billy" all through that game...far better than what I heard at the Rochdale pre season game...."If Paynter scores we're on the pitch, if Paynter scores we're on the pitch!" Priceless!
