I know we played well against 'Boro but I was surprised everyone was still dwelling on that and not turned their focus to the 'Ammers game. Bring 'em on and lets heap the pressure on them.

Colin wants 30,000+ for this game.
I see from the O/S that the South Stand & N/E Upper are now sold out, the Cheeswedge is open and selling well, and there's only a handful left in the Gelderd & N/E Lower!

Only 1 ticket left now, a 'severely obstructed' one on the back row of N9.
Well there form is not the best at the moment, we're on the up, we played them off the park down in London, so I can see us getting all three points, start with the same team as started at 'Boro.

I've just got round to reading the Hull programme from last Tuesday night's game and thought I would share some of Neil Warnocks comments printed in it in the "opposing View" section. I have read some of the comments before elsewhere but there seems to be more about the fans in this bit.
He says:
"What I liked when I spoke to the Chairman was that he didn't say "Let's talk about the possibility of becoming manager". Instead, he made it clear on the phone before we even met that he wanted me to come here. Where the others wanted to interview me and talk about this and that, Ken just said, "We know each other, come over and we'll sort things out". I just thought to myself, "That's how you do business".
"Having said all that, the biggest thing for me was the fans. It is not the financial situation because I am on a lot less than I was on but instead the potential to work with a 30,000 crowd. "
"A lot will depend on what happens between now and the end of the season. The fans have got to get behind us, and the chairman and everything. I want to be at a club who can get promotion and the chairman knows how I feel. I think he'll support me and I'm pretty convinced that the fans will too."
"We've got to get together now and put all our energy into the last 12 games. Everything else will take care of itself. The fans have to show that they want me for next season. That's what I want to see. If they don't then I won't be here. It's up to the fans."
"My message is, "Just show your support and get behind the team,. Let's have no negativity between now and the end of the season". We need the fans to lift the roof off and create an intimidating atmosphere. I want to give them a team to be proud of. If they have that, there is nothing the club can't do."
So that is why he keeps banging on about 30,000 in Elland Road, he seems to genuinely believe that it will make a difference and it is clearly the atmosphere he lives for these days!
There is a load of pressure coming with this game on Saturday - it does now look as though it will be close to full. That is brilliant, it is what we all want and the noise will be immense. BUT, this makes it the last chance saloon. If we were to disappoint with a dire performance then we will not see many of the crowd for a long time to come. That in turn would probably mean Warnock will not want to stay etc etc. As long as the team perform and show commitment then I believe that will keep the pot boiling - even if, like Southampton, the result goes against us and promotion this term becomes even more remote. At least we will all still believe that next year will be the one.
I am primed and ready for the game of a lifetime - Oh, I got the car back today as well so I can travel up in something a little more appropriate than a bright red motor!

It will be interesting to see how the table shapes up come 5.00 on Saturday with us, West Ham, Brighton, Birmingham, Blackpool and Boro are playing each other.
With the games we have coming up in Derby, Watford and Forest where we are more than capable of taking maximum points, I would settle for a draw against West Ham to keep us there or thereabouts for a very exciting end to the season.
Looks like the 30,000 is already surpassed and now looking at 33,000. Really looking forward to it, and my lad has not stopped talking about it. Will be great to see the ground full again.
This will be a strong test for our suddenly tight defence. Hammers are fourth in the league in goals scored. If we can keep a clean sheet against them, it will be very impressive, as they have only been blanked five times all season.

Thanks for posting the article....See ken did push the boat out too much re salary... maybe NW is on a % of the gate over 28,000 - or is that me being cynical - probably just used to listening to Bates bull.
Good news well at least for the Aussie fans of Leeds, the game is been shown on fox sports one from 1.55am Sunday morning ( Oz time of course, you have to use the red button as the main game is the Wigan one - Calm down Sheepy ).

well it is as it means it will be on the web on one of usual sites no doubt. Hope we put on a performance for the 30,000 plus , to make them want to go back. only one result will do is a win, and if we do as well as the game at upton park a bit more luck and we should have the 3 points. The same team as vs mborough deserve to keep the places. comfortable 3-0 please , more likely a 1-0 or 2-1 though.
