@RussVernonSport: SK Brann midfielder Rodolph Austin confirms to @ollan1 that he's a #LUFC player. He'll be in Cornwall Mon or Tues. #twitterwhites

nothing personal but that guy has removed me off facebook on two occasions, thinks he is in the know, but he isn't and he supports a new team every week.

Should not believe everything you see on twitter

It doesn't exactly look far-fetched though, does it?

And "that guy" is which one? And have you tried a third time?

But he doesn't say so, he just conveys the message. The actual source is the other guy, the Norwegian LUFC fan.

Ok if this has been mentioned ignore it, but we are trialling a young French player called Sebastien Faure who is 21, has played 45 times for the junior French team. He was released by Lyon over the summer. It seems he can play in the centre of defense, right back and central midfield.

That's one of the best no-goalie/goalie cock up goals I've ever seen. Next he'll be scoring deflections

Well spotted Mr Russell,

Wiki states "After being released by Lyon at the end of his contract. Faure was linked with a move to fellow French Ligue 1 club Evian TG. Faure joined English club Leeds United on trial and played in Leeds 2-0 win over Alfreton Town on 21st July".

The Scratching Shed has Faure as 154 years old and author of a book written in 1895 (me thinks these are two different individuals?).

Needless to say, 44 appearances for the U17-U21 French national side gets enough interest from me.

After seeing some of our displays last year it looked like we had a team full of 154yr olds    especially in defense!

I think NW is resolving that issue by selling our early 20s players for more late 30s... No wait, what?...

I think its saying on SK Branns website that Austin has signed for us - Click here, but it will help if you can speak/read Norweigen.

Hopefully Google translate will step in, if it does, please can someone paste the translation (I don't have it here)

Fire Sunday night accepted an offer from the English Championship club Leeds United at Austin Rodolphe.

The transition is not complete yet, what remains is that the player carries out a medical test and reseller completed his personal contract with Leeds.

- We agreed with Leeds on the conditions for a transition Sunday night. There have been a calculation for us where we had to measure the value of Rudy's path into the economy of such a transition, and we also believe that the player deserves the chance to transfer to Leeds now, said Rolf Magne Walstad-like the athletic administrative officer at Brann.

Travel to England

The interest from Leeds has been known for a while, and while fire has wanted to keep the player as long as possible, it has also been a matter of economy for a transition of one of Fire's best players.

- Negotiations have been slow, partly because the distance between what Leeds would give the player has been great from the fire wanted to get, and partly because we have had a desire to keep Rudy in the fire as long as possible.

In the fight against Aalesund Sunday afternoon was Rudy Austin his fifth yellow card of the season, which means quarantine of a match. It also played a role in the negotiations for AaFK-match.

- We had a wish that Rudy would play against Vålerenga next Monday, but since he can not there is no point in keeping him here, says Walstad.

Rudy will train with the Fire in the afternoon before he travels to England to negotiate the final agreement.

The desired option

Austin has always been clear that he wanted to have the opportunity to play for Leeds.

- Rudy has done a wonderful effort for Fire in several seasons, and we think it is right that he should have that opportunity now. He has since been known interest was clear that he wanted to continue his career in England if the clubs agreed a transfer.

Rodolphe Austin has played 106 games for the Fire since his debut in August 2008, and he stands with 16 goals for the club.
