Neil Warnock wants to begin his own regime at Leeds by signing old favourite Paddy Kenny, the 33-year-old QPR goalkeeper.

Question ... Is warnock going to sign anyone under 25 who has a chance of playing in the premiership if we do get promoted?

We need to be looking at youth and experience as these players are coming from a relegated club so obviously weren't good enough for the EPL but are for promotion.

Tbh, Warnock is good at getting promotion but poor at keeping teams in the EPL.

Sick of seeing Leeds fans live with the love of former and long gone players who moved on for better pasture's, whether they found them or not, most of these players are past their best. Yet we long to bring them back to ER, possibly to fail then be ridiculled. Why not leave them to be in the memories and claret tinted glasses that most Leeds fan's wear these days.

If we have any pretention's as a forward moving club, (that has become stuck in nuetral these last 18 months), we need to be going to clubs and offering 'realistic bid's' for realistic players..

Why not the striker from Huddersfield, if they fail again to get up, will he not want better things too ?
Grayson did sign Paynter, perhaps him and cash could woo the guy from Huddersfield ?
Why not the striker at Sheffield Utd who may also want a ''challenge'' ?
Why not indeed... but first we need to move out most of the shit we already have in the crapper to be flushed out !!

But let's not talk about ex-Leeds players who most if not all are over the hill, we have current Leeds players like that already... O'Brien, Bromby, Brown, Kisnorbo, et al.... possibly the only ex- I could agree with thinking about, but I didn't like his attitude nor arrogance was Beckford. But he has long since been overpaid for his efforts, something Leeds couldn't afford to do these days. Plus Leicester are at the moment a better team than Leeds both in position in the league and play, squad and direction.....

At the moment Warnocks charges are playing worse than they did under Grayson !!!!!!

I agree with all of your points apart from this. It's not that I wouldn't want Jordan Rhodes, I definitely would. But would Grayson really help us sign anyone know? If I were him I sure as hell wouldn't. I'd advise him to go anywhere but!

Paynter and cash for Rhodes? If Rhodes leaves Huddersfailed it will be for the premier league and for well out of our price range. For Payntor and cash we would struggle to get Alan Lee orAndy Booth and he's long retired.

Whilst I agree with much of what you've said, let's be clear, these are Grayson's charges playing under Warnock....

Seems a bit of a cop out blaming the players when they are playing worse than they did before,..

Will be interesting to hear what NW says about the transfer kitty at the end of the season.. Ill be happy with 3-4 million plus any sales

Errr, no they're not. When Clark was sacked, they were fourth and four points off automatic promotion. They are still fourth but now eight points off automatic promotion.

In my book, I would say they have slipped since Grayson took over.

All depends on how you look at it. When I brought up that we were worse off on the table under Warnock I was being told that it doesn't matter because we were playing better.

Perception is everything. (Although I completely agree with you that we should look at the table/results.)

Well if you want to split hairs, I could say at the time they had played at least one more game than the rest, two with some. Or at the time they were only 8 pts away from not making the play off's, now they are 11 with level games.. so can argue they are moving forward

But point was more towards any good manager should make the best of what he has... bad workmen blaming their tools etc...

If you want to see how well Grayson is doing at Hudds go onto one of their forums and read what they are saying. They are not happy bunnies.

Under Lee Clark they suffered 2 defeats in 50 matches, with Grayson they have equalled that in just 11 games.

Yea but Sheepy, nobody can ever compete with the legendary, heroic run that Huddersfield went on. It defies belief. It was one of the greatest achievements in all of football.

for sure!
It would be like us moaning if we didnt win 11 home straight games because SG did that.

If they are not happy, im guessing its because they are bitter Lee Cark got sacked in the 1st place, was never going to be easy for the next Manager.

I don't care how you look at it, Huddersfield are not playing better with Grayson, they are not better in the league table with Grayson and by all considerations of why he was brought there he is not doing the job. End of.

Forgive me if I don't get too excited about these rumors, but this is just the same old rumor mill. Everyone who has ever played for Warnock ever will be linked with us before the summer is over. It's just the way it goes.
