Did nobody else think that interview was astonishing? No hint of supporting this group of players from Warnock - very unusual even after an abject performance.

Openly criticised Robbo for the first goal, Snodddy for missing his chance, Connolly for getting sent off and everybody when he says "We haven't got enough of everything, guts, quality, desire" ! Don't get me wrong, I think it is great to hear him being so honest (unless it is part of his grand plan, maybe to ensure that the ones he doesn't want are already discussing with their agents how to get them out of the club!)

"You can't ask 20 odd thousand fans to turn up for that drivel, I cant have that"!!!!!

"I look at some of the characters today and I thought they went missing, absent without leave, only good thing about today was the crowd, I thoght the crowd was fantastic"

Yeah, the more I hear from him the more I am sure every word he says is carefully "planted" on the listener!!!!! If he stays on for the full season, we are all in for another colourful season with Leeds United! I am fascianated to see how it all pans out.

I think it is great that Warnock gives his honest opinion on our performance.
For me this open response is far better than dishing out lame excuses on what went wrong.

I don't think he will have said anything on air that he hadn't already said to the players and I think he's probably made the same call again as he did (in reverse) after Forest.

After Forest, he didn't come out and blast the players because he needed to pick up their confidence in some way (with limited success I'd have to admit but I can see the intention was right). After Saturday, he was right to come out and "name and shame" those that played poorly (most of them) and those whose indiscipline will cost their places in the team (O'Dea already, now Connolly - though I wouldn't say that's a big loss - and Clayton now one booking away from a 2-match ban).

I like his honesty; I think a bit of it is a little contrived to put pressure on KB for a summer showdown and a little is said to pacify the 20,000 fans who paid money to see that utter rubbish in the hopes that some will return next week.

But I would rather he came out and said all of that than "well, we were a bit unlucky, the ref didn't give us the breaks we needed,. the players did well" etc etc. I understand he banned all the players from saying anything that went on in the dressing room after the game so expect there was some blood spilled, at least metaphorically.

Well... He's got me interested if he stays next season. Sounds as if he'll grab the whole team and drag it over the line it get it promoted next season.

Can't help but add this comment... This situation reminds me of my last year at uni (over a decade ago), I just didn't have the will or determination to finish my degree that year. I was close to dropping out and also requested a defer till the next year. One day, the bottom dropped and I had an overwhelming realisation that I'm sat here for another year. I put my social life on hold and then picked up my books again and I pushed and pushed until I got over that line that year. I can't help but wonder why our boys aren't doing the same. We are still currently mathematically possible for 6th. Why don't they step up and fundamentally train (theory, lectures, set plays, and also physically train) all day and all night (not talking burn out but mentally train too) to get over that line or we are going to be sat here another season and another season and another season....

First time I have had chance to listen to this, Christ I thought I was peed off travelling home from the game and all Saturday night.

That's what I want to hear from a manager after a performance like that though, as long as he does something about it going forward.

Look forward to seeing the "kids" on Friday.
