I've heard a lot of Rhodes talk here over the last several months and I assume that Leeds may have expressed interest last window.
If I was Rhodes, and I'm not, but if I was Rhodes
1. I would run further than 500m without placing hands on knees and sucking oxygen like there's not enough,
2. I'd be able to kick a ball without pulling or straining something, and
3. I'd look into going to Reading or Southampton. Best chance to get a run in the PL (from coming up from League One)

OK, this could be almost actual Leeds United discussion
But, would you actually want him? Because I definitely wouldn't.
Yes I would welcome him. If QPR stay up though he would not come.
Which leaves Rhodes as he will not be coming up to the Championship with huddersfailed.
I understand the QPR link but do we have a sound Huddersfield link (other than ex-manager)?
Surly that is enough.
I can see it now. NW ringing up SG and SG's special ring tone goes off, he answers it and does a deal with NW for Billy Paynter and cash for Mr Rhodes.

Snodgrass signed his current contract while he was/we were still in League One. I'm not sure why everyone's expecting him to be the highest earner already.

Yeah, I agree. I would think Becchio would have been among the high earners, maybe Brown too.

It that everyone except from you?
Being a little surprised he isn't already our top earner, is different from expecting or thinking he might be.
it wouldn't be the 1st time players who are consistently one of the best, if not the best player get rewarded via an improved contract, and under KB i'm pretty sure we wouldn't get to hear about it. And if he isn't the top earner i'm sure he'll be right up there in the top 3...ish, so its not like we were miles away thinking he could be, because he should be
I for one was a little surprised he wasn't and was wondering who would be who shouldn't be

Hilarious.

No it isn't. Semantically, philosophically or however you want to put it, it's exactly the same thing, because realising when he signed his last contract and how many players we've signed ever since explains the context and why he wouldn't be the top earner.

Rachubka was the highest paid player.
They gave him a fortune to play elsewhere.

Does anyone think there is a chance that QPR could go down and Warnock could jump ship in the summer to take over them again?
