The award is a bit of a nonsense unless we were going to give it to an opposing team!

Tom Lees is 21, so what's the age criteria for "young player of the year"?
The club's Under 18s finished the season as runners up to Newcastle, presumably the reason behind the Chairmans Award going to NR so surely the YPOTY should have come from that squad?
Not meaning any offence to Lees - though technically his only competition in the first team can have been from Aidy White - I think he's had a good season learning his trade, but 21 is not that young when you have players making their league debut at 16 (I think even 15 this year, was it that Birmingham kid?).
I just think it might have been better for one of the Academy lads to have been recognised.

I still think Lonegran was our player of the year. We missed him when he was injured, although that was highlighted by just how woeful Rachubka was i suppose.

Watching AOB warm up on Sat in front of the West Stand, looking at his body language and the look in his eye, and seeing his look in the photo above, to me, he does not seem a well person?
