Well the business end of the season for 12 Football League clubs has come around. We start proceedings tonight with Cardiff hosting West Ham, should be a decent game.
A draw is my prediction.

2 - 0 to West Ham.
There can be such a big points difference between third place and sixth place (10 points this season) I think the current format of home and away ties is unfair. There should be one game only with the third placed team getting home advantage against sixth and fourth placed team getting home advantage against fifth. Final at Wembley or a neutral ground.

I think its between Birmingham and Blackpool. I can see West Ham failing because the pressure is on them and they have the curse of finishing 3rd. Cardiff City are just perennial failures in finals and such, I can't see them raising their game enough.
I reckon Blackpool could do it again.

Forgot to mention the Blue Square teams who will be trying to get into the Football League or I should say get back into the league.
Mansfield and York have already played a 1-1 draw and Luton and Wrexham go head to head tonight, Kenilworth Road what a bloody awful ground that is.
Am looking forward to all the games and the shock results they throw up.

Guiseley got a 1-1 draw to take back to the Nethermoor.
Think I will be off to watch as I'm playing at Idle in the morning in the semi-finals of the invitational cup in the Wharfdale Triangle!

Right, putting personal agendas to one side, namely in my case that that Upton Park is a darn sight nearer me than any of the other teams (!)..... based purely on which club would I rather NOT play against next season, my support has to go with West Ham.

Its not over just yet, Cardiff will make it a close thing at Upton Park, West Ham ain't great at home.
I knew West Ham had won because when I checked my email I got notifications that I had sold a few West Ham badges - always a dead give away...

West Ham have indeed only lost 4at home 18LL and Cardiff have only lost 4 away from home but only won 8 too. Got draw written all over it.
Birmingham have only lost one at home all season But both Brum and Blackpool are pretty shoddy away from home so much as I would like to see Ollie back in the Prem, it's a Hammers-Brum final for me.
