He may not have looked like he has had his best season but compared to last seasons 7 goals and 6 assists in all competitions it is 13 goals and 15 assists in all competitions. If by a miracle we do get a good 11 he will be awesome.

by last season i mean 2010-11 keep forgetting 2011-12 has finished, think i have blanked it out already.

I can't see Rhodes in the Huddes team next season. Maybe SG will do a deal for Billy Paynter + cash for Rhodes to come to us.

But can Rhodes cut it in the Championship? Paynter failed.

One problem there we haven't got the cash part of it!

Congrats to SG and his dog botherers. Happy for their chairman too. Will be interesting to see how much he will spend in his quest for premier league football.
I don't know how much of an impact the change of managers had on Hudders and Wednesday and if that was the main reason they got promoted and Blades didn't. Their chairman made the decisions though and can both claim to be vindicated.
Their ex-managers both have reasons to feel agrieved and good claims they would have got promotion anyway.

1-0 Crewe and it's one of those youngsters, 18 year old Nick Powell getting the goal.

can't argue with that , nice open game and a couple of goals in the ninety always helps.

Cheltenham Town V Crewe (as previous posts)
Started the day off at Wetherspoons on Baker Street quick couple of pints, then on to the Jubilee Line to Wembley Park Stadium walked up Wembley Way 80 degrees in a suit and tie is not recommended. We went in at the main entrance up the excelators to level 3 (the girls got giddy they thought they were going shopping) and then we went in to one of the cooperative rooms to be seated on the table with 2 agents from K Sports Phil and John who are James' agents and the gentleman sat next to me (name I have forgotten) rambled on about Huddersfield Town for about fifteen minuets and how he had cycled with the Huddersfield Chairman to Wembley next to him was Mr Garbutt who rambled on how good his son is after taking all this I informed them where my loyalties lie and went about in conversation making banter with them (it must have been good all the table and even the wife were laughing). Mr Garbutt was no other than Luke Garbutt's dad (remember him?) and Luke's grandad was there. Luke left the Accademy went to Everton apparently because Leeds had no ambition, physio's and medical staff were getting sacked they had to supply their own drinks at training, it was nothing to do with MONEY!!!!
The agent's Phil and John were very nice guys, had a word with them asked them if they had any dealing's with Mr Bates they informed me that nobody likes dealing with him, and when they have, he never make's a decision it's always we'll let you know,(surprise surprise)
The match, I thought Chetenham played well and deserved something out of the game, if they would have put their chances away at the end of the first half. James only played the last 15 minutes so he was disappointed but Crewe had some very good young lads.
After match we went down to the players bar in the Atrium for afternoon tea!!!!! and to meet the players. Atmosphere was one side happy one side sad, almost everyone was in the Atrium including the sky commentators Peter Biegry when at the entrance there was a little bit of raised voice's with everyone looking round in walked dragging a case Neil Lennon (Celtic Manager) never had any feelings for Lennon like or dislike, but the way he waltzed around as though he owned the place everyone at our table were in agreement they didn't like him.
THE CREME DE CREME FOR ME, WITH MY BELLY FULL OF BEER AROUND ABOUT SIX THIRTY AND STAGGERING DOWN WEMBLEY WAY 3 LADS STOOD HALF WAY DOWN ONE HAD A 1972 REPLICA LEEDS SHIRT ON. I WALKED TOWARDS HIM AND DID THE LEEDS SALUTE AND IN RESPONCE HE RETURNED IT MAGIC, HIS 2 MATES SAID HE HAD BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DO THAT ALL DAY!!!!
The lads name was Tony and he was from Melton Mowbray and it made my day.
James' goes back to Hudderfield now, we will have to see what happens, overall a great day.

Hope you like my little report, still got my tickets for the 2 fields game the day before, stayed in the pub in Greenwich
