I live in the south but ive always been a Leeds supported, ive had a season ticket at bournemouth before as i was at there acadamy and i have to say Pearce is a f**king great signing. He is so consistant and barely misses a game. Was one of the best players at Bournemouth for his 4 years stay and i think from what ive heard he was one of the better players at Portsmouth? You will enjoy watching Pearce win every header next year and being so relaxed.

No, just means he's signed the first player on his list. Probably his first choice CB though.

This is so weird! The Premier League season is still current, the FA Cup Final hasn't even kicked off but Leeds United have started signing players for NEXT season!!! Don't we normally wait for the Emergency loan window??? What's going on? 
Jason Pearce is a GREAT signing, he'll pair up nicely with Tom Lees, we could end up with two of the best young centre backs in the division.

Don't know much about him other than he won 7 out of 9 awards at portsmouth this season... obviously held in high regard. Good start.

I don't know a lot about Pearce. On the official site all the right noises are being made. He seems to be a leader, is young enough to develop further but has experience, and plays where we have needed some quality. He also appears to have been rated by the supporters at Bournemouth and Portsmouth, which augers well.
Does anyone know about his injury history or style of play?
a pompy fan i know was saying hes a no-nonsense defender and i quote "captain for obvious reasons that ul see soon" look forward to it
