I would have thought that the lads that travel to every game from Plymouth and Cornwall will be made up with these fixtures.

I was actually a bit proud to read that, because it meant all those hours spent watching Doc Martin paid off.

Why on earth are we playing down there?

Torquay is Helen Chamberlains team form Soccer AM.

NW usually takes his teams down there for pre-season.

Sounds like a good excuse for a Talk Tour to me

It also appears we are playing Burton Albion, another new stadium for me on August 7th, which is a Tuesday evening.

Just confirmed on Burton's website.

Official announcement

Leeds United can confirm that the club will face Tavistock, Bodmin Town, and Torquay United during a week-long trip to the south west in July.

United boss Neil Warnock had already confirmed his intentions to take the squad to Cornwall as part of his pre-season plans, and the club will play three warm-up games in the area.

The opening match will take place against Tavistock on Monday July 23 (7pm) before the squad travel to Bodmin Town, pictured, 48 hours later on Wednesday July 25 (7pm).

The final game of the trip will see the squad head for League Two opponents Torquay United on Friday July 27 for another 7pm kick-off. It will be the first time the club have played at Plainmoor in over 50 years.
The club has no ticket information as yet for these games.

The boss has already said he wants to the trip to be as "inclusive" as possible and has thrown open an invitation to all fans to watch his players being put through their paces at Duchy College, near Callington.

Fans wishing to attend training will be kept informed of details via www.leedsunited.com.
