I'd quite fancy York City away - I can go after work, and haven't been to the Kit Kat Crescent for some time.

I'd quite like us to get Rotherham away. Would that be their first (competitive) game at the new ground? Close to home and a good day out, I think.
Failing that, City away, because I haven't been to the ground yet.

You just want to say you've been to New York don't you?

Was really hoping that Notts County were in our group. It's years since I saw us play at Meadow Lane. Chesterfield is 28 miles away and Burton is 29 miles away for me to travel so either of these do would keep the fuel bills down

Think I'll shave my head for the new season, what do you think? Maybe a Crewe cut?

United boss Neil Warnock is excited by the prospect of kicking off the new season with an Elland Road home clash against Shrewsbury Town in the first round of the Capital One Cup.
The tie is due to take place ahead of the opening Championship game of the season and the boss is looking forward to the tie.
"You always want a cup draw at home," he said. "It's our first game of the season and it's at Elland Road which is great.
"I'm actually hoping we can play the game on the weekend before.
"Usually in these games you maybe give opportunities to a few players because they fall between your first league games, but we want to get through in the competition so it's an opportunity for us."
The tie will see the United manager pit his wits against another experienced head, with Shrewsbury under the guidance of Graham Turner.
"It'll be nice to rub shoulders with Graham again," said the boss.
"We go right back to his days as Wolves manager. My first league game at Scarborough was against Wolves when Graham was there and that was a fantastic occasion."
The date for the tie along with ticket information will be confirmed in due course.

Leeds v Shrewsbury carling cup rd 1
Great the ties being played from the 11th aug till15th aug
Gives everyone a chance to see new signings or signing.
Before the main stuff starts.
Excellant chance for club to attract fans old & new with cheap tickets.
But will it happen depends who is in charge.

I was hoping it was going to be the Shrews....but I wanted the blinking game at their place...it is only about 20 miles from me!
Ah well, the merry go round is starting up again, booked my tickets for the Torquay game this morning. It doesn't seem like the bulk of the Leeds fans have been put off yet as I got that annoying "Due to excessive demand the site is unavailable" message a few times.
