Accessible to non-members The club will be opening the SE corner next season as a reduced-price family area for those without membership.
Announcement says
Having reviewed matchday arrangements it was felt that we needed to introduce an area of the stadium to be used by family groups who are not Members so as to ensure that their experience is as positive as possible in an environment that is consistent with family groups.
On this basis, the South East Corner will be available to family groups without the requirement to be Members. The pricing for the stand will be the same as in the family section in the East Stand as detailed below:
Adults £27 (Cat A), £24 (B), £20 (C)
Senior Citizen £21 (Cat A), £19 (B) £16 (C)
Junior £11 (All categories)
Restrictions will be put in place to ensure that the family mix is maintained.
The membership restriction will still remain in the East Stand.
Further details of how to purchase tickets will be made available when matches are put on sale.
A good move in principle, although probably not a great area of the ground in itself, with the all the pillars in that corner. Not sure what the concourse facilities are. I would have preferred to see the away fans moved back there and maybe create a separate block in the East Stand (lower or upper) towards the South part, for this kind of offer?

I agree Bogdan. The atmosphere with the away fans in the wedge was a lot better. With them in the West Stand they may as well stay at home. You can't hear them even from the South Stand. I have been in the Wedge once for a Liverpool game and the view was very obstructed. Fortunately it was 0-0 and I didn't miss much

Can't fault introducing more family areas, kids need encoraging as they are the future.
Now sort out the marketing so we can buy Leeds shirts (and stuff) in Sports shops around the world, sick of seeing Scum, Chelski, Scouse, Arsenal, etc. every where I go.
World wide (or even country wide) support means more sales and more money into the Club for years to come, bigger the fan base the more chance of competing at top level.
Then buy back ER and TA, the are a drain on resources and the money its costing needs to go to players.
Reason: correction

NW said on Yorkshire Radio at end of last season that he hates away fans sitting in the west stand breathing down his neck. Away fans should be in South East, I mean imagine how much stick NW will get when wendies come to town.

But slightly disappointed I could not add to the trivial news watch thread

Hopefully not, it's where I always go. SS6 when the Away fans are going to be friendly , and SS1 when they are not so friendly .
