Welcome to our forum.
Interesting invitation, I've had a quick look and can't say I'm buzzing with excitement to participate in a forum where all references to our club are given as "Weeds". I must have missed some long-standing hatred and rivalry between the two clubs.

Welcome in mate.

I personally won't be joining your forum to join in with the 'banter', I don't do other fans forums.

This did make me laugh though when I read your Blackpool v Leeds thread:

Also Weeds haven't scored against the Mighty since 1971.Long may it continue

1971 was the third most recent fixture between the clubs

I smiled at that too. The sad thing is, you can count on that wording being used in some match preview somewhere in the media next week.

Browsed your forum, decent banter.

The "Weeds" reference is at the same level as our "Huddersfail" reference

I've got a couple of quick questions

QBlock87

1. Sam Byram the young Leeds right-back was constantly getting skinned yesterday, and
2. Leeds fans over here are saying Ince will tear him apart.

1. What's "skinned"? If it refers to "beaten or exposed" I'd suggest that QBlock87 watch the highlights and not read the text.
2. I'm sure they were. They were most probably making this statement to the tune "We Follow Blackpool" too.

Probably not.

Anyone born around 1987 and is on a forum, will generally give me a hard time

Went to Blackpool in 1967 & 1971 & if my memory serves we drew both games at Bloomfield Road but comfortably beat them at ER.
So well done to Blackpool it has taken them over 45 years to register a win against Leeds. .

Yeah, but we have a reason for this, they are a local club and they also have a giddy kipperish behaviour towards us that gives us a fair reason to have a pop back - hence Huddersfailed.

I suppose that this can be one of the problems with some of us "outsider" supporters, we are not exposed to living with the culture. What seems a little meaningless to us may well be deep in the hearts of local supporters. Take it as my ignorance not arrogance.

Huddersfield are our local rivals, Blackpool are just another team in the league.

Taht QBLock is a perfect example of how other team's fans know nothing about how good players are. It's like how Koscielny of Arsenal is so underrated even though, statistically, he's one of the best centre backs in the premier league (he made 91 interceptions, 85 tackles and 9 last man challenges - more than any other centre back in the premier league last season).
