Taht QBLock is a perfect example of how other team's fans know nothing about how good players are. It's like how Koscielny of Arsenal is so underrated even though, statistically, he's one of the best centre backs in the premier league (he made 91 interceptions, 85 tackles and 9 last man challenges - more than any other centre back in the premier league last season).
I'm not convinced that you're only 15. I was speaking to my 15 year old nephew the other night, he wouldn't use statistics to improve his point, in fact, I don't think he had a point the whole conversation
Always good to read your comments.

Huddersfield are our local rivals, Blackpool are just another team in the league.
Huddersfield are NOT our rivals. Blackpool are indeed just another team in the league. The guy (there's only one, to be fair) with the "Weeds" comments maybe has a personal gripe or whatever, but with Huddersfield if you go on their forum they're ALL like that. Nobody ever writes Leeds there unless it's a reference to their old ground. It's all asterisks and hashes and 666s, Elland Road is always called this that and the other derogatory term they can think up and think it's clever. It is absolutely ridiculous. The only club we come close to doing that with is scum, but with Man U at least we have a genuine history to show with them, there's palpable, requited rivalry that the scummers accept. Hudds fans won't be seen have a good word to say about the city of Leeds, nevermind the team (but most of them probably earn a living here), and they'll say we're living in the past with the Revie era, even though most of their grandparents weren't even born the last time they won some silverware.
So no, they are NOT rivals of any kind.

Can you imagine someone doing that?! We'd never do anything like that as Leeds fans would we, or make song about a win over fierce rivals?

Leeds are as fierce a rival to Huddersfield as Bradford City are to Farsley Celtic.

We ARE their fiercest rival though, in THEIR blinkered, boss-eyed view
Talking of Farsley, I remember one of their coaches goading me a bit when I met him in a gym, saying 'we'll' be above 'you' soon. (We'd just gone down to div 3 and they'd been promoted to Conf, I think it was). The nutter.

You might be surprised at my fitness level, Phil - slow as heck at running but very high stamina, so the docs have told me

Always a fixture I looked forward to, as since the late seventies I went to Bloomfield Rd 2 or 3 times a year when Leeds were not playing, I suppose they were my 2nd team, havent been though since seeing them win 1.0 at Hartlepool several years back.
Dont think I will be going again though, that 5.0 result severed any fondness I still had for them!!
I might bring the old tangerine scarf out when they play Forest though

1964 when I first started to get interested in football I asked my eldest brother to get me a football kit for my 7th birthday as he is ten years older than me & was working.
He bought me a full Blackpool kit, tangerine shirt with a white crew neck & cuffs, white shorts & tangerine socks with white tops, two years later I decided my alliegiance was with Leeds, never looked back.
For a strange allegiance shift I defy anyone to beat that of one of my colleagues, from an early age he was a Leeds fan, season ticket holder, went to matches home & away, when he reached his mid twenty's he decided that he would be a Bradford City fan who he supports to this day.

How's this for a complete opposite (granted of an armchair fan, but still). The second ever Leeds fan I ran into (online) many years ago was a guy in another corner of Romania. He was proper obsessed with Leeds in every way. We got relegated from the PL, lost the playoff final, then another season went by, before that summer he told me he'd realised his passion was with another club. Explanations such as his favourite colours being red and black were given. I'll let you guess his new allegiance.

Browsed your forum, decent banter.
The "Weeds" reference is at the same level as our "Huddersfail" reference
I've got a couple of quick questions
QBlock87
1. Sam Byram the young Leeds right-back was constantly getting skinned yesterday, and
2. Leeds fans over here are saying Ince will tear him apart.
1. What's "skinned"? If it refers to "beaten or exposed" I'd suggest that QBlock87 watch the highlights and not read the text.
2. I'm sure they were. They were most probably making this statement to the tune "We Follow Blackpool" too.
And Byram wasn't at fault on both goals tonight was he?

he is an 18 year old playing against 2 of the best wingers in the league jesus. been solid last couple of games, everyone is a due a bad day , and it was not until the end of game when he tired that he was punished. I would concentrate on your own team and keeping said wingers.

Bless you mate, you have clearly so much good things to say about your own team that you log on to a rival fans forum to criticise a youth team player. Bless you mate, really

Couldn't watch the game but gloating about an 18 year old gives you no height.
Although I thought it looks like from the highlights that Bryam was positioned poorly, he's only 18, he's going to be a solid first team player, and every one is entitled to a few mistakes in a game. There must have opportunities to break down the play before it got to Bryam anyway.
He had a solid first game and hopefully the bad one is off his back now. Haven't you got your own forum to raise shite on???
