Re: 2022 - 2023 Transfer Rumours and Squad Discussions
I agree with BB that our style of play and the additional midfield players will hopefully mitigate our goal exposure but I also agree with JD. This is the exact same defence as last year eight he exception of Kristensen. I’m flabbergasted that we haven’t purchased any high calibre CBs and that JM mu...

Re: 2021 - 2022 Transfer Rumours and Squad Discussions
I think Costas biggest problem was the price we paid for him and not the player himself. I admit that I let the £16m price tag colour my view of him (As I am doing at the minute with James - which I will get over), but I always thought Costa added great quality to our Championship winning side, but ...

The negativity here is pathetic it's clear that MB has wanted James for a long time. Are we starting a "Bielsa Out" campaign because some on here seem to be heading that way. At least wait and see what happens. Well not at all. im negative about this particular signing cause i think it's ...

Re: Take Us Home: Leeds United
Eddie gets a mention in the final scenes via a FaceTime call to Ayling or KP. I have to say I only watched this friday evening on my own with a few beers away from the wife and kids and I was nearly close to tears. 16 years of psychological torture eradicated in 2 episodes in the full knowledge that...

Re: 2020-21 Transfer Rumours and Squad Discussions
Although there could be a sense of deja- vu ala David James (who I wouldn’t sign now tbh) TBH I'm not sure I'd sign David James now. He's not looked at his best for a while and I'd argue Meslier is probably better. ;) :D He was a great striker anyway.....well Stuart Pearce thought so

Sounds like Asa Hartford all over again. Jaysus there’s a blast from the past I remember being disappointed that a player of his quality didn’t join in the end Didn’t he continue playing fir a good while later? Cuissance is disappointing but I have to admit I’m not aware of how good he is. ...

Re: 2020-21 Transfer Rumours and Squad Discussions
Llorente looks a good signing but a concern I have is mine if our 3 CBs are very tall. Koch is 6’2”, whilst Cooper and Diego are both 6’1” which in my mind still leaves us vulnerable against set pieces. Looks like we’ll just have to keep scoring 4 or 5 per game. Surely being 6 foot plus for set pie...

Re: 2020-21 Transfer Rumours and Squad Discussions
I've explained this quite recently in this very thread. The total windfall of c.£170m comes from not just this year's TV revenue but two years' worth of parachute payments as well. If we stay up, we'll earn more than that though as the deal is higher if you're still in the division. That's the basi...
