We moved home recently and all sorts of things, particularly photos have emerged from the various boxes. Anyone else got one of these:

Re: 2022 - 2023 Transfer Rumours and Squad Discussions
Charlie Taylor would be my choice. I can’t understand why he isn’t being considered. Surely it can’t be to do with the way he left us for Burnley and some fans not forgiving him! Lots of water has flowed under the bridge since then. He would do a much better job than Firpo. Seems to that this isn't...

Re: Expectations 2022-2023
The team that won promotion has undergone radical surgery either through transfers out or injuries. We start the season without the 1st, 2nd and 3rd captains, ie Cooper, Ayling, Dallas and IMHO I think this matters. The statistics show that clubs making major changes in personnel are relegation cand...

Missed that. Looks like Archie Gray is ahead of him in the pecking order.superfox wrote:Lewis Bate was left out too.
Looks like a loan for him, and I'm not sure it's the right thing.
Just like he lost one year.

Re: Wisdom Teeth - Give Me Your Horror Stories!
Had my wisdom teeth out when I lived in the US, so back in the mid-90's. Over there they give you a general anasthetic and you wake minus wisdoms. I recall that my ex-wife and mother-in-law helped me into bed, even though it was 11 AM and continued to sleep it off. Had quite a lot of blood in my mou...

Re: How do you like your eggs
It's not so much the style of preparation but the quality of the egg that's important.
Many years ago I had a work colleague who kept hens and the eggs were exceptional - orange yolk was the clue.
I'd go for fried in a sandwich with Heinz tomato ketchup.

Re: Prices
We get Lidl's Danepak spreadable butter and, yes it's gone up, but the price is £2.09. Worth a try?NottinghamWhite wrote:We use Lurpak butter & it was £5:50 now it’s £7:25. No explanation just a price hike. It all smacks of wanton profiteering in my eyes.

Re: I remember that/those
DC Marvel comics - Superman, Batman, Green Lantern - had such a distinctive odour, printing ink presumably. Fairly sure they were imported from the US. I was endlessly fascinated by the adverts for 100 (?) piece sets of cars, or was it military stuff at, it seemed, amazingly low prices. Ring any bel...
