Re: Kiko Casilla

Interesting call for the club, and I wonder what timescales apply, in terms of taking action. If we don’t go up and there is little chance of us getting a fee for him I suspect we might try to dismiss him for gross misconduct. If we go up he would be a decent second string keeper and on reasonable p...

Re: Is this season different to last (some stats)

Earlier in season, lots of teams came to Elland Road for a point, and parked the bus with the intention of stopping us scoring. Some of them were successful. I don’t think that’s going to happen much now. Although it’s always tough to play against a team scrapping against relegation, most of them w...

Re: 2019-20 Transfer News and Squad Discussions

Just read he can't play till June anyway. He's banned for some betting irregularities, according to the headline. Didn't waste my time reading the article as I CBA with gifted players who throw their careers away. He gave betting tips about his upcoming transfer to his brother in law I believe it w...

Re: Kiko Casilla

Ridiculously long process; doubt as to wether the defendant is guilty; and a sentence that doesn’t fit the crime - 8 match ban for name calling. Football dressing rooms generally regulate themselves ... was FAs intervention necessary? I seriously hope Casilla sues the FA and the player for defamatio...

Re: Bielsa - now you know what it's like first hand ..

I’ve got a couple of newbie questions regarding Bielsa’s importance to the club? He’s obviously made a big impact in the league table. How big of an impact has he made in transfers? Have players like Poveda and JKA been available to the club in the past? Also, if this ends badly, how tough will it ...

Re: Yorkshire rivals

I live in Huddersfield ... they hate us like we dislike Man Utd. As a result of banter with mates etc from my perspective clearly the rivalry has added importance ! Regardless I would say our biggest Yorkshire rivals are Sheffield United then Wednesday. They are both clubs of a similar stature to us...

Re: Interesting

We have by far the easiest run in .... however the bottom 3 are invariably as dangerous as the top 3 in the last few games games. Sometimes you get lucky with timing as regards playing sides in / out of form. That said I get a feel we’ve had our dip and we’re due our lucky patch ... fingers crossed.

Re: 2019-20 Transfer News and Squad Discussions

Adam Forshaw’s season over as he heads to Colorado for hip surgery. I can't believe that this has come as a shock for Orta & Co., still didn't bring anyone for that position. If Phillips gets another red or gets injured, we are doomed. Said it a couple of weeks ago Woods on loan from Stoke woul...

Re: Select a Great LUFC X1 to play Don's X1

Arguably John Charles is the greatest British player ever.... however ignoring players who played under Revie here goes with (2 players who hardly played for the club !!)

Martyn

Mills Radebe Ferdinand Dorigo

Strachan Batty McAllister Kewell

Cantona Yeboah

Re: Kiko Casilla

I’m wondering if Kiko’s poor form since the Cardiff game has anything to do with these charges ? I don’t buy this pal, basically he was a dodgy keeper flapping at crosses and making erratic decisions, particularly when coming off his line, prior to Cardiff! Granted at corners he has little protecti...
