Re: Fish & chips
No mention of the Graveley's by the ground as a good place for fish & chips? Their operation on a matchday is impressive and it must be the only place where I've never had a mediocre serving. On a tangent, our local chip shop will always start off the takeaway portion of chips with one of those ...

Re: 2019-20 Transfer News and Squad Discussions
And The Telegraph says it's not quite over with Adams Southampton will make a final decision on Leeds United’s deal for Che Adams over the weekend. The Saints have rejected three offers for the 23-year-old but there is hope chairman Gao Jisheng will look again at the structure of the £20million deal...

Re: 2019-20 Transfer News and Squad Discussions
Some interesting quotes in here Kevin Sharp, whose client Kalvin Phillips agreed a long-term deal in perhaps Leeds United’s biggest business of last summer, isn't a fan of the January transfer window. “The month itself, it’s historically known as more of a loan or a panic month,” said the former Lee...

I haven't watched him play since he's gone to Sampdoria, I take it other members have and he's developed immensely?

Re: 2019-20 Transfer News and Squad Discussions
£15m+ cash deals sound like a breeze on a forum, but I suspect the accounting realities are a bit more complicated, otherwise it's a wonder almost no Championship club ever has made a habit of them.

Re: 2019-20 Transfer News and Squad Discussions
According to Phil Hay, Assombalonga is "not on the main list" Hard one to judge, he used to be the next big thing at this level a few years ago, but I remember being impressed by how useless both he and Fletcher were when we thrashed Boro a couple of months ago. We would have to be...

Re: 2019-20 Transfer News and Squad Discussions
Seems a necessary transfer, with Casilla's situation. Why the derision, should we hold these kind of deals until the holy strikers comes in?Fernandopartridge wrote:Season saved lads, we’ve got a 3rd choice keeper in!

Re: Patrick Bamford
I think, apart from the individual failure to convert by Bamford, the club and Bielsa shoulder some of the blame. We don't seem to have an established penalty taker, and it's pretty clear (maybe with hindsight only) that Bamford didn't have the confidence and form to put one away with certainty. The ...

Re: 2019-20 Transfer News and Squad Discussions
I only believe we have 2 real premiership quality players in Philips and White. Ayling & Harrison may cut the mustard at a lower level Prem team, Costa has better raw ingredients than Harrison, so may progress next season. That's neither here nor there. X or Y being "Premier League quality...
