Re: How High can we climb?
I felt that getting to 47 points would secure our status in this division. Anything beyond that would have been a bonus. With a bit of stability on the coaching side (not to mention an assistant) the side seems to be more together. I feel we lack experienced heads on the pitch at times and that's s...

Re: Are we really any better than last season? Part 2
Now we're more than 2/3 of the way through the season we have a clearer indication of where we are at compared to last season. The thing that speaks volumes to me is that at this time last season we were talking about more of who we needed to get rid of at the end of the season. Now we are talking ...

Re: The Cricket Thread
I can accept that New Zealand and the Aussies are better than us in one day cricket just now but it's hard to accept the lacklustre, pathetic efforts we are seeing at the World Cup.

We are still considering living in France when we retire, get an old place in rural France and live the quiet life.

Re: Alex Mowatt the fall guy....
Morrison deserves credit for what he is doing for the team just now, as for Mowatt, he will develop into a decent player, no doubt about that.

Hockaday is Conference standard at best, I wouldn't want him back at ER.

Re: Edgar Cani signs on loan for remainder of the season
There has been a lot of changes since we had Smith, different managers, formations, style of play.... would we have kept Smith now? I'm not sure we would have anyway. It was a decent price at the right time and he was quite happy to leave.
Onwards and upwards, give Cani a chance.

Re: Who's the better manager Redfearn or Cellino!!!
Redfearn knows he will not have the last word with signing players, he is the coach and Cellino owns the club. I would have liked a winger but overall I think we have a much better squad than 12 months ago, Cellino has to take some credit for this.
