It seems very unlikely that Raphinha will still be around, and there may well be a new striker. I suspect that most of the new signings will be involved. Apart from an attacking midfielder I think the greatest need is RB and LB. We haven't got an adequate LB at all, and we need to be lining up Ayling's replacement - possibly Drameh but otherwise we need to buy.

The lot of the supporter is to veer between optimism and pessimism depending on the last performance. With the remaining opponents being 3 of the bottom 5, all of whom will have zilch to motivate them by the time we play them, our best players all back from injury, and how well we played yesterday, ...

Absolutely. The heart says 4 wins and a draw and a final tally of 60. The head says there’s bound to be one game that goes wrong so we’ll end up on 57/58. Probably 9th.
