Re: Where will be halfway point of the 19/20 season?
Not feeling it at this moment in time , something is just ‘off’ around the place so I’m thinking something on the lines of 17 points. P12 w4 d5 l3 leaving us on 37 points at halfway.

Re: 2019-20 Transfer News and Squad Discussions
I really don't get the centrehalf blindness from Bielsa. His biggest fault isn't the purity of his unwavering vision of football, the strict nature of the regime, the relentless flogging of the players or the customary late season collapse of his charges... it's the fact he's so bloody stubborn. Wh...

Best of luck to him , we’re looking weaker by the hour let’s hope we get a serious replacement besides the 3-4 we still need.

Re: 2019-20 Transfer News and Squad Discussions
Good price, Nigeria international, an eye for goal too - better than 1 every 10 games throughout his career - and he's 6'3" tall :D https://twitter.com/gg_rufc/status/1147559853453451266 Whilst not an AMAZING return on the goals front, defo worth a 'semi' given he's a defender I think this has...

Re: 2019-20 Transfer News and Squad Discussions
Feel absolutely sick with it all , we are actively getting rid of one of the best CB’s in the league and if it is Brentford then consider them a contender next year , absolute gift at 5.5M too , but if it is for disciplinary reasons then you have to back the club in the hope they feel it serious en...

Re: Jansson - Bielsa wants Rid, Radz Cashing in, He wants ou
The call to let a CB of PJ’s quality leave will only be right if the club bring in someone as good or if not better, he can go missing but he can also be the best CB in the league more often than not , not sure the lad from Brighton is up to it , will be a backwards step to let him go for me .

Re: Victor Orta & his transfer strategy
When I mentioned frees being a small risk I didn't mean Casilla but the list of those you had down as failures. Till the last game of the season Kiko had been almost flawless and a definite upgrade on BPF. I'm sure we would make money if we sold him because there'd be clubs in La Liga queuing up to...

Re: Victor Orta & his transfer strategy
We don't have the money for big signing - say spending £30M on 4-5 players, especially if we didn't go up, do we want to go the way of Bolton? Quality loans looks like to be the way and I think how Bielsa saw Villa etc field a team where half are loanees, probably realising its the way. You would t...

Re: Victor Orta & his transfer strategy
It’s a crucial window for the club we need 3/4 top notch signings on top of none of our top players leaving, and with a limited budget Orta has got to hit the bullseye , we faffed about with James in January and missed out and we were chasing shadows in the summer and then decided to spend 7-10 mill...
