Only 24% of the electorate though, yet they get to rule with a majority? Needs fixing. A reformed system might encourage an increase in turnout too.

Life is politics mate, you're in a country where there is a lot wrong but there is an awful lot bloomin' right too, and much of that is thanks to politics taught in life, not in school. You seem to have learned plenty at school, you're on here for one thing, writing in good English :P ... politics ...

I think I'm the same Davy, with films anyway. Definitely with books. Once I've read a book, even if I declare it's the best novel I ever read, then I don't think I could re-read it for the best part of 10 years, until I've more or less forgotten the plot and characters, it's just not the same experi...

Yeah, you're right, but technically it is a suicide if he threw the plane into the mountains deliberately, which seems to be the case. Either way, one of those massacres is virtually the same thing because you're still left with no closure and a thousand questions as on most occasions the gunman is...

Rigger, I would suggest that if what has been reported is true, then this ought not to be labeled as a suicide. It has a lot more in common with someone going into a school with a gun and massacring people before shooting themselves, than it does a suicide. Yes there is an element of despair present...
