Re: Best LUFC X1 - Post Revie Era

At 25, I'm only going to choose players I've actually seen play (albeit some of them I remember seeing more for other clubs, than for Leeds).
---------------Robinson
Kelly---White---Ferdinand---Harte
----------------Phillips
------Hernandez---Delph
Raphinha------Smith---------Kewell

Re: 2022 - 2023 Transfer Rumours and Squad Discussions

Goalkeepers: Meslier, Klaesson, [/i]Casilla[/i] I think that having two GKs who are the same age hinders the development of one of them, so I'd loan out Klaesson and bring in an experienced backup keeper. Obviously, I'd sell Casilla. Right backs: Ayling, Dallas, Shackleton, Drameh The first two are...

Re: Should we keep Marsch if relegated? (Poll)

After yesterday, I'm willing to give Marsch until October/November, to show some progress.

Re: How you feeling part 2

Relieved, mostly. After the stress of the season, I'm kind of glad it's over, and we've got a bit of a break now, before it all resumes. Having said that, I'm sure in a week's time, I'll start missing it all again, like a masochistic fool :D.

Re: Should we keep Marsch if relegated? (Poll)

Looking at what Corberan has done at Huddersfield, I like how he's adapted from his first season, when his tactics were much more like an imitation of Bielsa's, with man marking, etc. This season, he's changed to a 3-4-3 with a playing style that's very reminiscent of Tuchel's tactics. The way he's ...

Re: How you feeling

When I first woke up, I considered just staying in bed until 6pm, but I quickly found that wasn't really feasible :D.

Re: Her Game Too

I think they should just stick to football and give up the preaching. Apart from that, what is 'sexism'? Who decides how it is defined and what the definition entails? It seems to be an agenda-riven concept and interpreted in one direction only. I could co-opt their own language and argue that they...

Think this probably reflects worse on Orta than Radrizanni then.

Yeah, I'd say Rice is a better overall player than Phillips, but Phillips is a more accomplished defensive midfielder. I base this on the fact that Rice has, for the most part, played in a double pivot with a partner, whilst Phillips has often had to act like a one man midfield defensively.
