Had good drive up yesterday stopping at Holy Island for lunch and North Berwick for a Coffee.
Staying near the port in Leith and found a good Italian restaurant, even better hotel gave us a 20% off food and drink voucher.

Have a great time

Still up north of the border acually on the north coast at a place called Strathy, apparently its where the Atlantic meets the north sea. Lovely pub stayed at last night run by a Yorkshireman.

And message for John my better half says thanks for the whisky tip she enjoyed the Old Pulteney.

If you are going to Oban which is a cracking little town I really must insist that you try http://www.obanseafoodhut.co.uk really is fantastic fresh seafood & reasonably priced
Fao NW, A couple of days left on our grand tour of Scotland and took your excellent advice and visited Oban and the sea food hut for lunch today.
Although ate lightly as out for meal tonight the food was fantastic value. Couldn't believe the seafood platter for two, think it would easily do for four.

I knew you would enjoy the experience it really is quality but the restaurant above the hut is excellent as well. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Off to Sydney for a long weekend (public holiday on Monday), will be in Parramatta but visiting the Rocks and Darling Harbour at some point.
Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.
