johnh wrote:Big day today. Daughter is back in the UK permanently after 7 years working abroad. 3 in Hong Kong 4 in Singapore. She will be living in London so not far away from us. Her job will entail 3 days in London and 2 in Edinburgh each week, but Edinburgh doesn't count as 'abroad' does it? :D
Coincidence have just booked a long weekend in London (November) and are in the process of booking a few days I'm Edinburgh for "her indoors" birthday in October.

Suspect you had a bit of a sweat on their pal, I was the same as I went back and forth from the beer garden to the bar at The Fox in Thorpe Willoughby.

Walked past the Fox as was a detour through the village, normal route takes you across the fields to the east of the village but was closed off by the council.
Was about 10am so wasn't open or you may have seen us.
