Very good player, part of that great Wales side of the 1970s along with Phil Bennett, Gareth Edwards, JPR, etc.

JJ Williams was also a top-class sprinter as well as a rugby international and competed in the Commonwealth Games.

Yeah, I heard that too. There was also a nice tribute to him on the news (BBC and ITN). Seemed a nice guy, never heard a bad word about him. Made a lot of people laugh, all harmless humour as well. Sorry he's gone.
