Yet another upset, as Brecel comes through to make the final, knocking out Wilson in the process.

Less than 24 hours after the final of the UK Championships, we’re straight into another tournament with the Scottish Open

Shocks galore in the tournament so far, the likes of Ding, Bingham, Lisowski, Allen, Carter, and Hawkins already out and Kyren Wilson currently down 3-0.

New World record of points scored in a frame set by Jimmy Robertson of 178.

Potted a red before accumulating 44pts in fouls then cleared up with a break of 133.

A bit bleary eyed this morning, stayed up to watch the Trump v Gilbert match, what a game that was.

So Brecel wins out in last night’s final of the Scottish Open against John Higgins. Higgins just can’t win a final at the moment, after reaching a number of finals already this season.

One of my favourite tournaments starts today, the World Grand Prix. The top players battling it out, some decent first round ties too, Wilson v Hamilton, Hawkins v Selby, Williams v Lisowski and McGill v Maguire.

This one is on ITV4.

One of my favourite tournaments, The Masters, now underway with John Higgins through this afternoon. Robertson a little bit fortunate last night for me.

The top 16 players in the world, incredible high quality snooker.
