The curry is Pakora and Naan came from Aldi, Samosas from Tesco

Early morning trip to the fish monger and bought some lemon sole fillets will have them tonight with new potatoes, string beans, asparagus and peas. I forgot to buy a lemon so need to pop out again.

Yes we are blessed with an excellent fish mongers www.fredhallam.co.uk and they do some nice stuff. Am a huge fan of Dover/lemon sole and plaice it’s a bit expensive but hey ho you get what you pay for as they say.

Tonight we’re having beef and ale pie, chips, mushy peas and gravy.

Wednesday is usually fish night for me , tonight I had had Sea Bass , with new potatoes and fine beans

Tagliatelle with prawns and a tomato sauce heavy on the Parmesan cheese.

A couple of steaks on our electric barbecue just waiting to heat up. Salad and jacket potatoes will accompany the meal. A nice white wine chilling in the fridge.

Edit remembered we had a couple of garlic butters in the freezer.
