If you are looking for a party with the interest of the averge working man most at heart. I would highly reccomend the Trade Union and Socialist Coalition (TUSC). this is not a party int he traditional sense, but a loose affiliation of a lot of parties that all have to agree to certain overall priniciples.

. Chaired by David Nellist, the ex-labour MP and also supported strongly by the late Bob Crow who co-chaired for a while, they are contesting a record number of seats for an alternative party in the local elections (they only contest their first seats in 2010), then hoping to carry this on to the General. Not only this they are getting increased support within Unions. For example, Unite the largest union which was always traditionally Labour, now have several high ranking members openly support TUSC and we could see a further and more dramatic shift with more trade unions leaving their labour support.

You can also take example from the way that Crow and other unions such as NUT have done well in facing the Government down in recent years despite the constant attempts to minimize their influence. This should give any voter confidence int heir ability to stand up to the bigwigs both at home and in brussels.

These by far would offer greater support to the every day man compared to UKIP, who are still effectivly a tory party (huge amount of ex-tory membership, bourgious donors) , they also have strong policy ideas on all aspects of the country, not just the EU (which they are actually for leaving as well)

Apologies if i brought this too far off the topic of UKIP closing in on the Tories, i just wanted to highlight that there are other parties on the peripherals that would probably be much better for the average man. Watching politics recently it seems to me people think UKIP are the only alternative to the big 3 (well 2 in reality) , and are will to compromise their views on other issues as they feel there is no other option. That simply isnt the case.
Very interesting read, mate. I even went to the TUSC website to have a look. I hope they have a candidate here come May 22nd. As an RMT member Bob Crow did us proud. We always got an RPI-plus-a-smidge pay rise even over the last few years. Workers of the world unite so that we're Marching On Together. Bit of a mixed metaphor type affair going on there but I think you know what I mean.

Labour almost bankrupted the country and are a disgrace, not fit to govern and that's from me who voted Labour for almost 30 years. This leaves the money grabbing toffee nosed Tories, who are out to line their pockets and their Rich list friends pockets. While they keep getting richer, the poor keep getting poorer, no pay rise for 5 years, families £1,600 a year worse off and I don't see any decent pay rises in the future. The choices are bleak, that's why people are going to protest vote and I hope millions vote for UKIP and that they become a mainstream party. Is it a bad thing a British political party, supporting the British people? I say bring it on.
UKIP is a right wing party with disaffected Tory voters, they are bolstered a lot by those who disagree with the coalition government. Are they supporting all British people, or just those on higher wages?
“Ukip knows people are fearful and fed up under austerity but instead of offering honest, genuine solutions, the party resorts to tired distortions and clichés about 'foreigners'.
“With nothing to say on saving the NHS from the clutches of privateers, Ukip offers nothing for working people. Just like the Tories it is a ‘nasty party’ on the side of the rich bankers who caused the economic misery that is inflicting so much pain on ordinary working people.”

Nigel Farage is a former stockbroker and the leader of a party which represents the interests of the white and well-heeled. UKIP in power would abolish inheritance tax, charge people to see a doctor and ban the teaching of climate change from the National Curriculum. UKIP wants to give more money to the top 2 per cent of the population and take it away from those who happen to get ill – however poor they are. Despite Farage’s matey, fag-and-a-pint image, UKIP represents the smirk on the corpse of cruel, reactionary England.

I think UKIP appeal to a broad section of the British public, the rich, the poor and the middle classes, like I say, every new party have to start somewhere and I hope they make a huge impact in the election next year and become at least the third mainstream party in front of the now unvoteable Lib/Dems.

Any idea what UKIP would do to rescue the NHS now waiting lists are rising again, worst they've been for many years and Cameron has wasted millions on administrative reform.

What's UKIPs line on food banks, Britain as third world state? Is it simply exit the EU and all will be well.

I find it inconceivable that anyone can take Farago seriously. But they do, worryingly.

This is what happens when politicians neglect the silent majority, on this occasion Lincolnshire.

They HAVE neglected the majority mate, just how anyone can vote for any of them anymore I don't know, I was going to abstain, but instead I'm going to vote UKIP and I think many, many more will do the same. I haven't had a pay rise for 5 years, but still the feckless bankers keep getting their huge bonuses, it's enough for folk to spit feathers.
