A pleasure - I love cycling. The joy of watching elite athletes pushing themselves to the very limits is intoxicating for me and a real contrast to some of the bench warmers/divers/over paid footballers we watch. These guys leave their bodies in the mountains.
I know many find it boring but watching hoofball at ER has been mind numbing in recent seasons. In contrast, a sprint finish or a wheel to wheel battle up a mountain has me out of my seat. I may swap my ST for one at Manchester Velodrome Take care daibO.

When I was young I said to my mum, 'are the hills in the distance America?'

Could not agree more, even though the gloss was taken out with Cav & a couple of favourites going out early it was still intriguing for the minor places. Aside from the riding there is always plenty of interest with the fantastic views particularly in the mountains.
These guys are a different breed of sportsman & despite some horrendous injuries & broken bones they always try & carry on. Must be something to do with two wheels because motor bike sportsman are exactly the same.
Yes I also will miss it but there's always the cricket to watch
