Thanks to all who sent their best wishes, much appreciated.

My father will have a heart MRI on Tuesday and hoping for the op on Wednesday which would mean they can come home by next weekend (fingers crossed).
Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.

Just got back from a few days in Hebden Bridge. Lovely to get some lungfuls of good Yorkshire air.

Took in a wee Zebra finch a couple of weeks ago. A couple had got it for their wee girl (cost less than a pint but its still a wee animal) It was definitely not right but I couldn't see anything wrong with it and generally the smaller the bird the quicker they go downhill . I kept it quarantined for a week but it got no worse or any better. They are a flock bird so I took a chance on Thursday and placed a couple of my own in the cage with it. Today I put all 3 back in the aviary as the wee one was back as it should be. I believe it just needed others of it's own kind.

Bit like us really.
