Seriously SL, you need to get some sort of blog going, you couldn't make it up you really couldn't. As always, all the best mate.

Living through my first ever Cyclone here in Newcastle NSW, its a category 2 which thankfully is not a very severe one but its still strong enough to cause damage. The worst part is that i'm still at work :?

Sadly there have been 5 people who have lost their lives in the storm, 3 in Dungog and 2 in Gilleston Heights, where a car was swept away in front of onlookers. The clean up process is in full swing right now with even crews from Sydney up here trying to get things back to normal.

My parents power came back on this morning at 2.00am, 47 hours without power but my girlfriends house is still in darkness and we could be waiting another day.

They say this kind of storm hits here every 30 years but we have now had 2 in the last 8 years.
