Thanks all you guys basking in the sun home or abroad.....If anyone is interested it nearly hit 14 degrees here yesterday and I've just been out unblocking a drain so as the back garden doesn't flood in the latest downpour.

Edit

Her indoors and myself are seriously thinking of moving in with my step daughter who lives in Southampton and is peeing us of with weather reports.

Davy, the rain has arrived here. I live only a short drive from Sunningdale where the Seniors Open golf is on and they have just suspended play because the greens are flooded. I have had to cancel all the jobs I was going to do in the garden. :D
I once played against Don Revie.

Making myself a cuppa just before 8 this morning & low & behold looked into the garden & there on the lawn was a Snipe. A bird normally associated with marshes not back gardens in suburbia. Called the wife to get the camera, to which she responded very quickly only to find out that the blessed battery was flat

My lad Mark ran the line in the Altrincham v Port Vale friendly yesterday. Michael Brown played for the Vale. Mark said his main contribution was a shot that just missed....the corner flag!

No. I did have a look for his Daughter and her mates on Saturday (they always sit in the same corner in the Pavilion) but didn't seem to be around.I'm sure RW is looking in though!
