Jonah Lomu the former New Zealand rugby union player has died aged just 40.

His monstering of England in the 1995 World Cup was amazing.

Truly shocked to read that. I knew he wasn't well because of kidney disease, but... wow. Bless him. A nice bloke, by all accounts.

He had only just returned home from England (working on the Heineken cup) on Tuesday. A gentle giant off the field and monster on it. Played 73 tests and scored 43 tries.

Gerry Byrne, former Liverpool & England player, played against us in 1965 FA Cup Final, for the full match despite breaking his collar bone in a clash with Bobby Collins early on.
